Sixteenth.

Third person's POV.

When she finished her bath, it was Giyuu's turned to take a bath. She wandered to his kitchen and take a look at the food ingredients at the cabinets. There are only some eggs, and rice. She sighed.

'He doesn't come here often anyways.' She take the rice and eggs from the cabinets. She took the rice and rinse it before cook it. She explore his kitchen more and found kombu and sesame seeds, along with seasoning. She take them all in her hands. She put the kombu inside the rice pot. Now, she is waiting for it to be cooked.

She heard that Giyuu has finished taking his bath, and the rice is already cooked. She open the lid and stir the rice delicately. She take two bowls of rice and crack an egg into each of the bowl. Decorating it with sesame seeds and soy sauce, she take the bowls and chopsticks to his dining room. She leave it there to call him to eat.

"Giyuu, I cook something when you take a bath. Let's have a dinner together," she popped out from his bedroom door. Giyu nod in response and follows her into the kitchen.

He look into the cooking in surprise. "I thought you said it's dinner..."

"Don't complain, you only have rice and eggs in you kitchen. Even if it is a food for breakfast, there's no prohibition to eat it for dinner," she retorted in a bit of annoyance. She grab her chopsticks and eat the food.

He grab his chopsticks and eat the food in front of him. "Don't get mad, I'm kidding. This is delicious," he complimented her cooking.

This cause her to giggles. "This is only a rice with egg on top of it. But thank you," she smiled at him.

They eat their food in comfortable silence. Once they both finished their dinner, Giyuu take their bowls and offered to wash it since Hanabi already cooked it for them. Hanabi nodded in response.

She watched him from his back. Thinking about how she should bring up the topic. 'Should I tell him some time later? I don't want to ruin this moment we are having. It is rare for us to have a same day off,' she thought, leaning her head onto her hand.

"I finished already, let's go to my room," he take her hand gently and guided her to his room.

He set up his futon and motioned her to get in to his blanket. She complied and getting into his arms. His arms enveloped her figure. He kissed her haie before asking her.

"What do you want to talk about?" He asked with a calm voice.

She hold into his clothes. "Giyuu, I've realized that I have been wanting you to opened up to me, but in the end, I didn't opened up to you as well. I have been hiding things away from you, about my past, and about my doings these past few years," she said in a serious tone. She stare into his ocean blue eyes and look at him closely. "Giyuu, I-I am not someone that you think I am. I have been doing bad things these past few years and I have finally put it into an end yesterday, but it still won't erased my sin."

He is surprised by her words. He wanted to ask her some questions but decided to hold it and let her continue.

"I...I told you before, about a demon that killed my brother. Actually, that demon is...is.." she gulped, "that demon is my mother."

He widened his eyes, shocked is written on his face.

"And that night, after he ate my brother, I killed her on the spot. I killed my mother..." she trembles as she say this. She is afraid. Afraid that his looks will change towards her. She doesn't care about how other people's looks at her, but she does care that people is Giyuu.

Giyuu who saw her trembling, immediately hold her closer. He rubbed her back in comforting way. "It's alright. If you didn't do that, she will eat more people. You had saved lots of people's life," he kissed her cheek.
