Third Person's POV.
Tokitō continued his explanation. "I couldn't move during the previous battle because I got poisoned. I was using my breaths to try and delay the poison from circulating through my bloodstream. But a boy who saved me nearly lost his life, and my old memories came back. Then I got so angry that I lost complete control of my emotions.
"I think my heart rate went over 200 bpm and my body became burning hot. I think my body temperature went over 39 degrees," Tokitō stated.
Shinobu looks surprised by his explanation. "But can you move in that condition? That would've been life-threatening."
"Well, that's why I think it can be used as a screening test. Will you die, or will you not? That's probably the difference between those who have the mark appear, and those who do not," Tokitō said again.
"A heart rate over 200 bpm...and a body temperature of around 3o degrees?" Amane asked again for confirmation.
"Yes. When Kochō-san was treating my wounds, I apparently had a fever. The temperature recorded on the thermometer was about 39 degrees. My guess is that I had the same body temperature when the mark appeared," Tokitō stated again.
Mitsuri glance at the Mist Pillar with realization. 'Oh, I see now...'
"Can you confirm this, Hanabi-sama?" Amane asked the Nature Pillar suddenly, catching her off guard.
All the eyes are on her. "You get one too?" Shinobu asked her.
"Yes, during the kidnapping," she answered.
"Huh!? I don't see any marks," Sanemi said.
"Because it is already gone by the time you arrived. The part about memories comes back and body temperature around 39 degrees, if I recalled back, I do feel those things. I can remember that my body is burning but I thought it is because of my rage at that time. My marks appeared in a short period of time. Seems like it only appeared when I am in a battle mode," she shrugged.
"Tch. So it's that simple, huh?" Sanemi clicked his tongue.
"I envy those simpletons who can say this is simple," Giyuu retorted.
'Pfft, what's this? Oh no, I should hold back my laughter,' Hanabi said to herself, making sure to not making any sound at the back of the room.
"What?" Sanemi irked at the Water Pillar, having Iguro also staring at the Ravenette.
"Nothing," Giyuu simply replied.
"So I guess getting this mark to appear will now be a high priority for the Pillars," Shinobu stated.
"Agreed. Please inform Oyakata-sama that we will do something about it, so he can be at ease," Himejima said.
"Thank you very much. But I do have one thing to say regarding your mark training," Amane said to them.
Mitsuri tilting her head. "And what would that be?"
"Those who have manifested the mark must participate. No matter who it has appeared for. And there will be no exceptions."
After that, Amane excuse herself with both of her children and leave the Pillars on their own.
"Ahh, I see.... But if we're really doing this, what will happen to me now... Namusan..." Himejima muttered.
"Now that Amane-dono is gone, I'll take my leave," Giyuu said while standing up from his seat.
"Whoa, hold it. Don't leave just yet, man. We oughta make our future plans now, am I right?" Sanemi said, stopping the Water Pillar with a harsh tone.
