Twenty-Second.

Third Person's POV.

Hearing the chirping sound from birds, she jolted, waking up. 'The demon! It's not one of the Twelve Demon Moons! I have to make a report!' She tried to move her body but winced immediately because of the sudden pain.

She looked around, trying to grasp her own situation. She's a bed, with clean sheet covering her body. The sun is bathing her through the window and there's a curtain on her right side bed. 'Is there a person here?' She tried to move the curtain to peek but her arms and shoulders are aching, thus she hold her intention.

She fixed herself on her bed, making it creaking. She inspect herself. Her arms are wrapped with bandages and her head also spinning like hell. Her throat is aching, and there are several infusions are attached to her arms. 'Well, this is pretty bad.' She try to remembered what happened before she went unconscious.

'Alright, there's another force like Twelve Demon Moons, but it's supposed to gone extinct now, right? That shitty hair said there are three of them, but he devoured the other two, so it's supposed to be fine now, right?' She stare onto the ceiling above her. She hummed slowly, filling the silence in the air.

The door is creaking open, revealing Kanao who is shocked by her waking up. "H-Hanabi-san," she stuttered while closing her mouth with her hand.

"Oh, Kanao. Hello, how do you do?" Despite her body aching, she asked her with a bright tone. The said girl immediately hugged the Nature Pillar. The Nature Pillar winced silently in pain. "Kanao, I am sorry but can you release me? It's hurt..."

The Tsuguko immediately released her and stepped back. She lowered her head. "I-I am sorry..." she apologized.

Holding back the pain, she asked the young girl besides her. "Ah, it's okay. How long have I been unconscious for?"

"It's been two days since you and Tomioka-san were arrived at Butterfly Estate. Master-"

"Giyuu! How's Giyuu!?" She instantly asked for the man. 'How come I forgot about him!?'

"Tomioka-sama has been severely poisoned. His rib cage was broken and his eyes can't function for a while because of poison."

Hanabi shocked by Kanao's explanation."Does that mean he is blind?"

"Uhm...no. Master said that his eyes need rest," Kanao is sweating. Talking and explaining this much makes her worried that she made a mistake. But her worried disappeared once the Nature Pillar sighed in relief.

"Haah, thank God. Thank you, Kanao. Where's Shinobu?"

"Uhm... Master is-" her words got cutted off because a crashing sound.

"AAH! SHE'S AWAKE!?" A Kakushi came to the room, accidentally break the plate that contain cakes on it. "WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ANYONE!?" he pointed at Kanao, and Kanao bowed deeply to him in apologizing manner. "SHINOBU-SAMA!! SHIROKAWA-SAMA HAS AWAKE!!" He's rushed out from the room.

Seconds later Shinobu barge in to the room. "HANABI!" She exclaimed, approaching the raven haired girl. "Are you okay!? You were badly injured!"

"Well I can't feel my leg right now and these infusion needles are such a pain, but I'm good," she smiled.

"Your bones in your leg were fractured. You injected a pain killer to your broken leg didn't you!? Can you for slightest bit, CARE about yourself!??" She yelled at her.

Hanabi can only smile at her exclamation. "Right, Shinobu, how's Giyuu?"

Shinobu sighed in frustration. "Did you just hear yourself? Worried about yourself more, Hanabi. Your man still unconscious. He got some poison in his eyes, but not dangerous to his sight. But it still needs time to recover."
