Ｐｒｏｔｅｃｔ ||Tomioka Giyuu X OC||

First Kiss (最初のキス).

Third Person's POV.

Giyuu still can't brushed off the thought about Sabito's death as his own fault. He was there when Sabito faced up that huge nasty looking demon.

He can still hear the demon's voice, cackling as it saw his and Sabito's mask. It said that it will surely eat both of them because they used Urokodaki's mask. He can still see Sabito's figure facing up the demon, and Sabito's body being eaten by the demon whenever he closed his eyes. This of course caused him nightmares everytime he tried to get some sleep. He will found himself panting after waking up from his sleep and he can never get rest properly.

"The rooms are full. There's only one room left, so you two must asleep in the same room," The old lady of the Wisteria Crest House  said to them.

This statement actually shocked him, but seeing that both of them need to rest, he simply agreed when Hanabi asked him. 'This should be fine, we had sleep together back in Urokodaki-sensei's house before,' he thought.

They finished their meals. Giyuu set up his futon, and Hanabi followed him. 'I just hope that I won't disturbed her sleep because of my nightmares,' he sighed. After he finished, he place himself on his futon and covered himself in blanket. "Good night, Hanabi," he said, closing his eyes. He heared her saying the same thing and he fell asleep.

Of course, at that night too, he experienced nightmares. His sister was risking her life even though she was just about to get married, he can't saved her. But then, he felt warm is brushing his face. His dream changed its scenery. His sister is safe and sound, and she smiled to him. He ran to her and she greeted him with her warm embrace. He can't remember when was the last time he feel like this. The feeling of being loved.

They are being paired up again in a mission. He must admitted that there's something in him that feel relieved when he is being paired up with the Ravenette. Maybe because she is the only person that share part of his past. 'Yeah, that must be the reason,' he assured himself.

The night is enveloping them in the middle of the woods. They are currently investigating where the demon could be. Feeling his instinct tingling, he grabbed his sword from it's sheat. A demon suddenly attack them from the ground. He jumped to dodged the attack, but Hanabi got caught. He frowned.

Water Breath: Fourth Form; Striking Tide.

He slashed the demon, made it released Hanabi. "Thank you, Giyuu," she said as she pulled out her sword. More of the demon appeared from the ground. They keep hiding and appearing from the ground. Both of them having a terrible time to deal with them.

Finally, they managed to kill all the demon besides one that is the only that remain standing, but not in a good condition. Their conditions are not good either, but they manage to pull through this far because they are familiar with each other fighting style, therefore they help to fill each other's flaw.

The demon regenerate and attack them, but Hanabi was quick to react.

Nature Breath: Fourth Form; Rivers.

She decapitated the demon in one blow. She sheathed back her sword. She turned around to see Giyuu, but only to find him struggling to stand on his own two feet. He was about to fall when she run to catched him before anything happened to him.

She helped him to walk to Wisteria House, only to find that the house is full (again) and there's only one room left for them to used. Seeing Giyuu's state, she doesn't complained and immediately nodded so Giyuu can receive treatment immediately.
