Jughead pov
At home we didn't have many rules about dating girls. It was only me and my dad so he just told me from the First day i can remember: "You can't date Betty Cooper." Why? Because my dad is friends with her mom and dad and he doesn't want the friendship to be ruined because we see eachother a lot.
Betty pov
Dating boys, No limit here at home. You could see that by my sister she had other boys every month but i wasn't like that. From the First day i can remember there's only one rule in the cooper household about dating boys:" you can't date Jughead." Not because they don't like him but because they love him and they don't want to pick sides when we would argue or break-up. Jughead is one of my best friends AMD every friday night we have cooper-Jones dinner. Jughead and i always go outside or watch a movie but we can't leave to far away. They want to see us at all time. We're goddamn 17 Why can't we do what we want to do?
Jughead pov
Today was friday, after school Hal picked Polly, Betty and me up from school. Even then we can't walk together. It is insane and totally messed up because i started liking Betty a year ago and i can't even try to ask her on a date. She is so smart and beautiful. She helps me with math because i suck in it. I help her with the bleu and gold but our parents can't know that because they Will split us.
I sit in the front Seat and text archie. Betty and Polly are also on their phone. "Phones away when we're home kids" he said to the three of us. We didn't answer and just continued doing our thing. We arrived at the cooper house and i put my phone in my bag.
We walk out and my dad is already inside. I Kiss him on his cheek and so do the girl. After that i Greet Alice the same way. "How is my boy doing?" She asks. "Good Alice" i say with a smile that she happy returns. "Mom can i go to a party Tomorrow ?" Betty asks. "Euhm Polly can you assist her ?" Alice asks looking at her oldest daughter. She shakes her head and Goes to her bedroom. "Sorry hon next time" Alice says making dinner while my dad and hal help.
"I can assist her Alice, i Will make sure that nothing happens to her and things" i say with a smile trying to convince her. "Uhm i don't know Jughead." She says cutting the carrots. "Please mom one time without Polly. You trust jughead right?" She says, playing smart. "Yeah i hope you trust me Alice" i say playing the game with Betty.
"Okay then but home by 1 and jughead you can after that stay in the guestroom" Alice says and Betty and i hug. "Thank you mom" Betty says and kisses her mom on the cheek.
"Dinner is ready" Alice shouts. We all walk to our normal places and start to eat. Every parent is drinking red wine and the kids water.
Betty pov
The next day i woke up around 12 so i ate brunch alone because my mom was working my dad was on a trip with his work and Polly was with her two days Boyfriend Jason. I showered and put Some clothes on the bed i could wear. I went with the black Crop top and my black jeans and boots. I had two more hours to kill so i started with my homework and after i started with make-up.
Two hours later, my mom already home, jughead walked in the house. He had a key because he is like a Son to my mom. But i don't see him as my brother, No because then i would feel the urige to do incest. I have a crush on him and it's big. I hate that i can't date him but yeah what can i do about it. He probably doesn't like me back so. "Hi Alice, looking good betts" he says smiling. "Thank you can we leave NOW" i say looking in his eyes. He nods and i give my mom a Kiss on her cheek. "Have Fun kiddos" she shouts and we leave to the party.
In the car we talk alot, like best friends do. We walk in and i feel jughead staring at my ass. I look at him and he blushes. "You like what you see Jones?" I tease him. "Maybe" he teases back with a smirk on his face. I see Veronica and i go over to her. We get drinks and dance the night away.
Jughead pov
After Betty left me for Veronica. I searched archie. "Hi arch" i say seeing the boy with a beer in his hand. "Hi Jug you want one?" He asks with his cup above his head. I shake my head. He pulls up his shoulder and i sit down in a corner. After twenty minutes i see Betty coming to me. Ow No she is going to ask me to dance and i can't say No to her. "Hi Jug you wanna dance?" She asks smiling at me and grabbing my hand. "Only if you can prove me that you aren't drunk at all. Not even a little bit" i say wanting her to be full conscious if we started a dance. "Uhm would i know that it is 12:03 now" she asks pointing at an analog clock. "That was good, something more" i ask trying to let her give up.
"Uhm would i know that you have 3 little different toned parts on your lower back" she says." Okay okay" i say but she interupts me from standing up. "Wait one more. Try what is in my cup from this night" she says giving me her red cup. I drink it and it is ICE-tea. I laugh and she takes my hand and pulls me to the dance floor.
I dance but not that good. I stand a lot still but Betty is looking in my eyes and dancing around me. After ten minutes she says:" come here Jug." And she pulls me away from the crowd. We walked up the stairs. Nobody was there and i had to, but how? "You even enjoying yourself Jug?" She asks concerned. "Betty stay calm" i start with my hands on her shoulders.
"Look i aM not that party boy, but i love looking after you and making you happy because you can be here" i say . She looks deep in my eyes."you know that you make me happy on another way juggie" she says with a light smirk and smile. I blush and look down. She picks up my chin and says:" you being with me here is the best part." She says with sparks in her eyes. I take my shot and pull her in a short passionate Kiss. We take away and look at eachother. "Woow finally"i say. She laughs and pulls me now in another Kiss. After Some time i try accesing her mouth with my tongue and it works.
Alice pov
Eight in the morning. FP and me having breakfast. We walk to jughead his guestroom because he has work in two hours but see him nowhere. We directly knew where he was. I pushed Betty her door open and saw the kids cuddled up in her bed. Looking happy and full of peace.
"It was going to happen one day" FP says and we smile at the beautiful couple before us.
