Jughead pov
I see her walking, my crush. I don't know for howlong but i think almost forever. She comes to me and says:" hi juggie." I lean against my locker and smile to her. "Hi betts" i say. "Are you coming for lunch today?" She asks. Her mom always invites me over for lunch, she and my dad get along. My dad said to me that Alice did that because she knows i have this crush and she wants to help me. I am a little embarrassed because she knows it. Last week she asked me of her feelings were right and it ended in an hour conversation just Alice and I.
"Yes betts ofcourse " i say smiling. "Good! See you after class" she says and walks away. I stare, i know it but how can you not.
"Hi bud" someone says behind me. I turn around and see my best friend Archie. "Hi redhead" i say laughing. "Funny" he answers dry. "Are you staring again?" Archie asks. "No no never" i say and look away. "Yeah just be careful because your eyes will fall out" he says and slaps lightly my shoulder. "Haha" i say dry. "Come bud we need to go to class, let you crush moment go" he says and we walk to chemistry.
Three hours later i waited for Betty at the Bleu and Gold. "Hiii jugggggg" she says happy. "What got you so happy" i ask. "Just nothing" she says and smiles from ear to ear. That smile is so cute. "Are you ready to go?" I ask and she nods. We start walking and talk about classes, family and the upcoming prom.
"Hi jughead nice to see you" Alice says while we walk in. I kiss her on the cheek. We walk over to the table and take place at our normal spots. Alice on the shorter side and Betty in front of me. "What are we eating mom?" Betty ask while Alice is still in the kitchen. "Meatballs with tomato and rice" she says back. "That looks delicious" i say while she brings my plate. "Thank you jughead" she answers.
"So how was today" alice asks when she is done eating. Only betty is still busy. "Boring but okay" i answer. "You dear?" Alice asks. "Good i got asked to prom today"she says. My heart melts and Alice looks at me. I am already two weeks busy on my plan to ask her and Alice helped me a bit so yeah i am totally disappointed.
"By who?" Alice asks. "Archie, he said he really likes me" Betty says not looking up from her plate. I get mad, my blood starts to boil. The only friend that know that i have a crush on her does this. What a no bro move. I get up mad ready to storm out but i have to do my shoes on first. I try to do it fast because i never been so mad.
"Juggie what are you doing" Betty ask while coming over to the door. "Nothing betty" to i say mad i stand up and want to go to the door but she blocks me. She blocks the door and says:" you are not leaving until you said what happend or what it is." She looks mad and serious, it's cute.
"I need to talk to archie" i say. "Why?" She asks fast. "Nothing just talk" I answer. "Don't lie to me Jughead Jones" she says. "It's just uhmm i wanted to ask you and archie knew that and now he did this. " i say. "What? Juggie you wantend to ask me?" She asks with a smile on her face. "Yes Betts ofcourse i like you, i even love you" i say with my head down. "Juggieeeeee" she says and hugs me. "I like you too and love you too" she says. I look in her eyes and see the sparkles. "Really? And what about archie?" I ask hugging her back. "That was a lie, archie and mom told me that i had to say that over lunch and ask why you were sad or mad" she says.
I hug her thight and kiss her hair. "But i still want to be proper asked to prom and to a date" she says smirking. I smirk back and say:" lovely betts can i take you on a date?" i ask while going down on one knee. "yes forsythe" she smirks. "You better start running" i say. And she does. I run behind her and she laughs.
I pick her up in my arms and look in her beautiful green eyes. She looks at me and kisses me on my lips. "No pda in this house" alice yells and i let Betty go. She falls right on the couch and says:" jugheaddddddddd"

i start better running.
