Time skip to after he's settled in a room (because I'm lazy.)
I walked into Jug's room. The doctor said that he had 3 broken ribs and he needed a few stitches for his deeper cuts. I walked over to his bed and grabbed his hand. "How you feeling, Baby?" He smiled at me. "Pretty good. A little sore but that's about it." I nodded and lightly wrapped my arms around his chest, resting my head so I was looking up and him. "I'm so sorry, Juggie." He furrowed his eyebrows. "What're you sorry for?" I sighed. "Putting you in this situation. I'm the one who made you feel alone and caused you to be depressed a-" "Woah,  woah, WOAH! You aren't the reason for my depression. You were the reason for my happiness and yeah I guess you did hurt me a bit but my crappy family life and failing school grades are what made me depressed. You and Hotdog were keeping me alive." A tear fell down my cheek and he reached down and wiped it. "Aw, don't go crying on me, Betts." I giggled and sniffed. He tightly wrapped his arms around me. I slid my body up and planted kisses all over his face. An airy chuckle escaped his lips. A doctor walked into the room and I got up, not letting go of Jughead's hand. "He can leave but he has to be signed out by an adult so we know he'll be properly cared for." Jug's face dropped and I nodded. "Th-this is why I didn't want to come here. Th-they're gonna have to call my dad and I-I..." "No, Jug. They just said AN ADULT had to sign you out. I'll get my mom to do it. We won't need to call him." He let out a breath as I pulled out my phone and asked my mom to come sign him out. She of course agreed and said she'd be here soon so I sat down on the chair next to Jug's bed. "My mom's on her way." He smiled and nodded.

About 10 minutes later...
My mom walked through the door with a smile on her face. "He's good to go." I stood up and let go of Jug's hand. I gave my mom a hug. "Thanks, Mom." "It's no problem, Honey." She squeezed my hands. She walked out of the room and I went over to Jug. "Alright, you ready to go?"  He nodded and I grabbed his hand. We slowly made it out to my car and I helped Jug into the passenger seat. The ride back home, we sat in comfortable silence. Neither of us spoke because neither of us needed to. I held his hand the whole time and during red lights would occasionally look over at him to make sure he was okay. He always had a small smile on his face as he stated out the window. When we made it back to my house, I parked the car and my mom parked right behind me. I got out then helped Jug out and we walked into the house and upstairs. Hotdog was immediately at our feet, rapidly wagging his tail. I sat down on my bed with Jughead right next to me. "You want me to get you some clothes without blood on them?" He chuckled. "Sure." I got up and pulled out a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. "Here," I said and handed him the clothes. "Do you want me to leave the room or cover my eyes?" He smiled at me. "It's fine. Not like we haven't seen each other." I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a pair of leggings and grabbed the hoodie I stole from Jug and put both of those on. It felt nice to be in clean clothes. I looked over at Jug and saw him having trouble bending over to put his pants on because if his ribs. I walked over to him and put my hand on his bare shoulder. "Let me help you." He looked over at me and nodded. I crouched down while he put his hands on my shoulders and lifted up his foot. I slipped his into the pant leg and pulled it all the way up, then he switched and put his other foot up. I slipped his door in and pulled the waistband all the way up, giving his a kiss on the lips. "Thank you, Betty." I grabbed his shirt. "It's no problem." I pulled the shirt over his head and he slowly slipped his arms into the arm holes. We payed down on my bed and Hotdog jumped into Jug's chest. I laughed and started petting him. "You wanna watch some TV?" I asked. Jug just hummed in response so I reached over to the table next to my bed and grabbed the remote. I put on Friends because they were playing reruns. Halfway through the first episode, Jug started playing with my hair. It was making my eyes droopy and I slowly fell asleep.
When I woke up, Jug was still playing with my hair. I stretched a little and he kissed the top of my head. "Morning sleepyhead." "Mm. Morning. What time is it?" Jughead reached over and grabbed his phone. "12:30 on the dot. Oh and your mom left about an hour ago to run some errands." I nodded. "I'm hungry," I said. "Me too." "Hmm. I want Pop's." Just thinking about a Pop's burger and milkshake made me lick my lips. "Definitely. That sounds so good right now." "Alright," I said as I got up. "I'll go to Pop's and be right back okay? I don't want you moving more than you have to." He nodded. "Here's the TV remote," I said and handed it to him. "And the bathroom is right through that door." I pointed to the open door in the corner of my room. "Okay. I'll see you soon." "Yeah, I'll be right back." I walked over and kissed his lips then his cheek and left the room.
On my way to Pop's, I saw a little antique store with a beautiful type writer in the window. "Hm. Jug would love that." As I reached Pop's, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I'm gonna buy it for him. "Hey Betty! What can I get for you?" Pop greeted as I walked through the door. "Hey Pop. I need 3 burgers, 2 large fries, a chocolate milkshake, and a vanilla milkshake." "Coming right up." I waited maybe 10 minutes before all my food came out. I thanked Pop, paid, and walked out to my car. I decided I was going to buy Jug the typewriter. He could use something to cheer him up after everything that happened. I parked my car outside of the shop and walked in. A little bell sounded as the door opened and I was greeted by a pudgy man in his maybe mid 40's. "Hi, sir. I was wondering if that typewriter was for sale," I explained and pointed toward the window. "Oh yes! I've been looking for someone to buy that thing for years. It's $120, I'm willing to bargain though if that's too much." I reached into my back pocket and pulled out my wallet. "No, sir. I can pay full price." A huge smile grew on his face. "Oh, thank you Miss. My wife will be so excited to finally have a date night." I watched as he did a little dance around the shop and chuckled. I pulled out my credit card as he pulled the typewriter out of the window. He walked over to the counter and took my card. He swiped it and asked me to sign. He handed me my card and the typewriter in a brown paper bag and said, "Have a nice day." I waved and said, "You too," as I walked out the door. I got back in my car and drove home.
When I got there, I grabbed the bags and made my way up the stairs. Jughead was sitting on the bed, watching TV while holding ice on his ribs. "Hey, Juggie," I said and placed the bags down on the bed. "Hey, Betts. What's in the bag?" He asked, pointing toward the paper bag. "Oh, I got you something." I reached into the bag and pulled out the typewriter. "B-Betty. Oh my goodness. I-I don't know what to say. Th-thank you." I kissed him and set the typewriter on his lap. He ran his fingers over the keys and sighed, a smile on his face. I walked over and sat next to him on the bed. He pulled me into a tight hug, well the closest he could get to a hug because he was laying down with ice rested on his ribs. I wrapped my arms around his lower torso so I didn't hurt him. I took a deep breath in and immediately felt comforted and safe from his familiar scent. "Thank you Betty. I love it," he mumbled and kissed my forehead. I wrapped my arms tighter around his torso. I took a deep breath in and then out. "I love you Jug." He froze. His breathing hitched. Oh no. "I love you too, Betty." I squealed with happiness and kissed him roughly. I love him.

I'ma make a part 3 where Jug meets her friends so that'll be out at some point, I've just been so busy with school and homework and show quire so I'm off my regular posting schedule but I'll get back on it as soon as possible. Thanks for your cooperation.
