Bughead Oneshots

Rebound Part 3

Finally! I know this was long awaited but here is part three of Rebound. I'm so sorry it took so long to write.

From that point on, everything seemed brighter. The world seemed more colorful and even though it was on a few hours after that, I could already tell that everything was gonna be better. 
Today is the day I introduce my friends to Jughead. I'm not really nervous but I can tell Jughead is. He asked me several times last night and while we were getting ready today about what I think they'll think of him. 
"Jug, listen to me." I gently placed my hands on his cheeks, forcing him to look at me. "They are going to LOVE you, okay? You are an amazing person. I know it took me some time to see it and it might take them some time too but getting to know you, is the best the thing that has ever happened to me." He smiled shyly at me.
"Really?" He asked.
"Really," I replied, my voice confident. He leaned down and kissed my lips. 
"Okay," he said. "Let's do this." I laughed and grabbed his hand. 
"They should be here any minute, now." He took a deep breath and let it out. There was a knock at the door. I pulled Jug downstairs and sat him on the couch. I went and opened the door. Veronica, Cheryl, and Toni all squealed and hugged me. I invited them in and they were all so busy telling  me about all the gossip I missed while I was out of school that they didn't even notice Jug sitting on the couch. 
"Okay, okay. I invited you over for a reason," I said and they all stopped talking. I pointed over to the couch. All their head followed the direction of my hand until they saw Jug. 
"You, I know you. We sit next to each other in Biology," Toni said. I walked over to him and and placed my hand on his shoulder. 
"Guys this is my boyfriend, Jughead." They all looked shocked. Suddenly their faces all lit up and they started smothering me with questions. 
"You got a boyfriend?!" Veronica squealed. 
"Yeah," I said, shyly. Then they all ran over to Jug and asked him questions. 
"When did you guys get together?"
"How long have you guys been together?" 
"When did you meet?" 
"Did you guys have sex yet?" 
He looked over at me with pleading eyes and I immediately jumped in to help.
"Okay guys, chill. You're scaring him." 
"Sorry, sorry. We're just excited. You've never had a boyfriend before," Toni said. "And the rest of us are in relationships." She looked over at Cheryl and kissed her hand. They were so adorable together. 
"Well now I'm with Jughead so you can stop obsessing over my love life." I went over to him and sat on his lap. He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder. 
"AWWWW!"
"You guys are SO cute together!"
"That's adorable!" 
He flinched a little at all their screaming. I covered his ears and kissed his forehead. 
"Shh. You guys need to calm down." 
"Sorry, we're just so excited," Veronica said. They all came and sat down next to me. "So, are you going to answer our questions or not?" I sighed.
"We've been together for..." I looked over at Jug, deciding if I should tell them the truth or not, "2 weeks. We met years ago and that is none of your business."
"They so did," Cheryl said. Veronica and Toni nodded their heads and started squealing again.
"Guys seriously. The neighbors are going to complain." 
"Fiiinnneeee."
So after that, things pretty much went back to normal. Except now I had Jughead. He got more popular too, because he was with me and at first you could tell it made him uncomfortable but he kinda got used to it. 
"Hey, Betty." I turned around. Archie. 
"What do you want, Archibald?" He grabbed my hand and spun me into his arms. 
"Obviously you, babe." He leaned down and tried to kiss me. I put my hand in front of his lips and stepped out of his arms. 
"I have a boyfriend." I crossed my arms.
"That loser? Come on Betty we all know you still love me. All you have to do is ditch the Southside trash and come back to me." He smirk at me and I almost threw up in my mouth. 
"Yeah, I don't think so. You want to know why?" I leaned in close to his ear. "Because I never had real feelings for you. Jughead on the other hand, I love more then you could ever imagine." I smiled innocently at him and walked towards Jughead's locker. He was talking to Toni, Reggie, and Fangs. It was really nice seeing him happy. I walked over to them and grabbed his hand.
"Hey, Juggie," I said and smiled at him.
"Hey, Betts," he replied and put his arm around me. 
Being with Jughead was the best decision I ever made. I loved him so much. We graduated, got married, had a couple kids and even got a cat the we named Caramel. Occasionally we have a quick squabble like all couples do but it's never more than that. It seemed we were each other's soulmates and I wouldn't ask for anything else. Life is absolutely and positively perfect.
