The crystal armor

So yeah! Felix!

I'm very sorry for not updating in such a long time I was busy, I've been preparing for the end of the yearexams and all that. I even have my last exam (I have to do 2) tomorrow! And also I was sick.

So, without further due, let's get on with the story!

Octavian's Pov:

We went back to the crystal palace (we presented Felix to "the gang") so Felix would recieve the dotations of the ninth.

When we arrived, Felix gawked at the giant crystal castle.

"It's huge!" he had said. We were now waiting beside the door, because Mitchell had told us the ninth had told him that he needed to talk to Nico Di Angelo. Hazel had looked a little sad when he said Nico but Frank squeezed her hand reassuringly. Felix was looking around the place with awe.

"So, you live here?" he asked us. I looked at Rachel  and she looked at Red.

"Mitchell and I live here, the others are living here until the ninth reclaims her throne." said Red.

Just then, the doors opened.

Nico came storming out of the throne room and shadow-traveled out. We looked at each other confused, not understanding anything. Mitchell took a look inside and gestured us to come in. Felix entered first and I followed Rachel in, wanting to see Felix's face when he entered.

Felix's Pov (Lol yep):

I'm pretty sure that my mouth was hanging open because this palace was amazing.

Wasn't made of ice though.

I saw a girl of about my age beckoning me foward, so, I went to her. She smiled at me and stepped down from her throne and hugged me. I stood there surprised, did a princess just hug me? Everyone else looked shocked.

"I just wanted to hug someone of my age, feek like I'm actually a kid, not a princess with rules." She told me. I smiled at her and she smiled back.

"Well I'm glad I could help you then." I said.

"Are you ready to recieve your immortality and your powers?"

"Actually," I said nervously. "About the inmortality thing, I... I kinda want to actually be with my friends. I-I mean I like the idea and all its just that... there's someone over there..."

"A girl." I nodded. She smiled at me. "Her name is Jaz, I thought she used to be with another trainee like me but she wasn't. I think she fancies Julian." I said miserably. She smiled and patted my shoulder. I smiled back sadly.

"Well then, do you prefer just having the powers?" She asked me softly. I nodded and she kissed my forehead. I felt awakened, as if I was seeing, feeling, hearing better. I also felt more energized. I grabbed the crystal staff and it started glowing. I felt there was too much energy on it that had to be liberated. Ishot ice to the ground, in a way that would destroy the crystal floor but it would still be jagged at the ends, liberating all the power from the staff. What was left was an seethrough iceberg of about Frank's size.

"Felix what are you doing!?" Yelled Red. Suddely Frank put up a hand to stop her and looked closely.

"There's something inside the ice." He said. Everyone started looking and I pressed my face into it, since it didn't feel cold for me, it only stung a bit. I backed away a bit from the glss and decided to do my first incantation with my crystal staff.

"تلاشى"

I said. A little hole appeared in the ice. "Oh come on!" I yelled frustrated. The time I actually do need the hole to be big it's the size of a penguins head.

(P.S: The translation, the only reason it's Arabic and not egyptian is because I didn't know how to write it's sound.)

Frank got closer to the iceberg and did something so amazing I thought my eyes where going to pop out.

He turned int a penguin! I squealed with happiness and hugged him, while Hazel laughed and Red and Mitchell where there with their mouths open. I put Frank down and he entered is head into the hole. He came out again and turned into human form.

"It's the crystal armor." He said and Red's eyes widened. "Come on! I've been looking for it for half of my inmortal existence!" Octavian frowned at her. "Why have you been looking for it for so long?" She loooked at him as if he should know.

"The one with the armor has to be thelast line of defence. They protect the ninth." She said.

Suddenly I heard a baby roar and I turned around to see a little dragon melting the iceberg.

(Dragons are big, so a small dragon is reaches Felix's hip.)

I kept turning the running water into snow so no one would get wet.

Finally, the crystal armor was free from its crystal cage.

Franks's Pov (Finally!):

I looked at the armor that was now laying on the floor, pretty sure everyone was looking at either that or me.

"You can shapeshift?" Asked Mitchell. I smiled and nodded. He looked at me ax if I was a pokemon he hadn't catched. "That's not fair! It's to cool!" He said and everybody laughed.

The armor started glowing and Felix backed away a bit, I did the same. Suddenly the armor stood up as if it had arms and walked towards me. It saluted me and I just stood there dumbfounded. I touched it and suddenly the back part, that was facing me, disintegrated. The arm latched to my chet and to my arms and to my legs.

I was wearing the crystal armor.

Hazel looked at me in wonder. "You're a guardian!" She squealed and hugged me. I hugged her back and kissed her, getting gagging sounds from Felix and Mitchell. I smiled at Rachel and nodded at Octavian.

I decided not to go with immortality. I didn't want to leave Hazel alone, even I she did have her brother. I hugged her and kissed her again, feeling sharper and more energized than ever.

"What do we do now?" Asked Octavian. Reyna looked at me, well more at my crystal armor and then looked at the ninth.

"I suppose that we are still missing somethi-"

We were interrupted by a sudden glow and he sound of ice cracking. We all looked at the source, and all demigods watched with disbelief.

Felix had a glowing holographic sign that was rapidly cracking. And that wasn't the worst.

It was the sign of Khione.
