.
Rachel rested her head on Octavian's shoulder. Octavian smiled and stroked her hair softly.

They sat against a tree having a picnic, they needed some rest from the adventure they had just had. A lot of emotions, re-encounters, not enough kissing and horrifying prophetic paintings tire you.
Plus, dying was not fun.

But finally, there was peace.

Octavian looked at Rachel, wondering why he was so lucky to have a girl like her. Rachel looked back at him, smiling. "What?" Octavian smiled. "Nothing, I was just thinking how lucky I am."

Rachel sat up and turned around to look at him. "Lucky about what?"

"You know what."

She sat up and turned to fully face him. "I'm lucky for having you, you taught me a lot of stuff, especially something very big."

Octavian looked at her "What?"

She smiled "You taught me that people can change."

He leaned back on the tree "I guess you are right, I did change, but so did you."

Rachel turned her head to the side, confused. "In what way did I change?"

Octavian smiled. "Well for one thing, you were the hero of a prophecy, not only the giver, and for another thing-"

He leaned in and kissed her. "You were willing to help me change and to let me take my time to do so and for that I am so grateful."

Rachel laughed "You actually thanked someone."
Octavian stuck his tounge at her and then laughed. She stood up and pulled him up, intertwining their hands.
"We went through a lot of challenges, but we wnt through them together and we survived."

"Mostly," Octavian added "You did die for a while"
Rachel rolled her eyes "Well yes, that's true, but the point is that we manage to survive a battle and we managed to survive it together. I have learned and felt a lot from you, Octavian. You taught me that there is mkre to someone that what meets the eyes and I am so grateful and happy about that. I wouldn't want to live in a world withough the greek gods and Camp-Half-Blood, and I wouldn't want to leave in a world without you."

She leaned in and kissed him.

Octavian smiled into the kiss, thinking of how their life was going to be like now that there was peace.

He knew that peace may not necessarily last, so he knew to enioy the moments he had with Rachel.

He just had to enjoy this while the future awaits.

..........................

Well, what an ending to my fanfiction. I would like to thank all of you for reading, voting and commenting on my story, it means a lot that you guys enjoy it.
I would also like to apologize for the late updates, I didn't know what to write sometimes and I had a lot of things to do other times, but now I have finally finished.
I will miss writing this fanfiction, this story was something I really wanted to do for a ship that is not very noticed. This is my One True Pairing, yes, and people may find that weird, but I like how it is and I wanted to kind of show you that.
I want to thank people like InkOnPaper_, who was one of my first friends here in Wattpad and has written great stories which helped me write this book. You are a great person and I hope you do great.

Another person is Greenninjagal, who has great stories I really like that also gave me inspiration in some parts in my story.

SilverHuntresses is another person I want to thank. She was someone who stuck by my book even though I took a long time to update some parts, and I want to thank her for that.

And last but not least I want to thank everyone who decided to check out my story, wether they stuck around until I finished it or not. I want to thank you for the views, the votes and the comments, they motivated me to keep going and I smile each time I see someone commented on this story.

Thank you all for reading this book, thank you Rick Riordan for making such an amazing world, and thank you all for sticking around.
