Stiles glanced at the clock, relieved to see that there was one minute left of class. Then he'd see Derek, and Lydia and Kira and Danny.
He stealthily began to pack up, knowing the teacher was still talking.
He so wished he had his phone. Douchebag teacher just HAD to take it away, didn't he? And, to make it worse, his teacher had spent another fifteen minutes making fun of him. He would've been fine if he had to sit through a no-texting lecture, but being heckled for dating another boy and for dating someone several years older than him? THAT he couldn't take.
Finally, the bell rang and he darted out of his class, headed to the school parking lot.
As soon as he saw Derek's shiny black Camaro, he grinned and approached it. Derek stepped out and Stiles kissed him, indulging in a little tongue before reluctantly pulling his face away but staying wrapped in Derek's embrace.
Then, without fully breaking his hold on Stiles, he lifted a pizza box for Stiles to see. Stiles gasped and smiled at him. "For me?"
Derek quirked an eyebrow. "I figured we could share with our friends." Stiles sighed. "I suppose I can find it in my very generous heart to share. In fact, my generosity is one of the many reasons you love me."
Derek laughed. "There aren't as many as you think." he teased. Stiles frowned at him. "I'm hurt." Stiles said sarcastically.
Derek knocked his forehead against Stiles' forehead. "Sorry, babe. Will you forgive me if I give you this?" Derek pulled a shiny, new smartphone out of his pocket.
Stiles raised his eyebrows, taking it and tucking it in his pocket. "You're full of surprises, today, aren't you, Mr. Hale?" Derek shot Stiles a withering look at the nickname.
"I think that deserves another kiss." Stiles announced pulling Derek close for another steamy kiss.
They broke apart as someone cleared their throat. Stiles frowned at Lydia. "You're such a terrible friend to me, sometimes, you know that?" he griped.
Lydia quirked an eyebrow. "Funny, I was about to say the same thing about you."
Stiles frowned. Lydia's eyes zeroed in on the pizza box. "Ooh, can I have a slice?"
Before he could answer, Kira joined then with a familiar blonde. Lydia stiffened. "Hey, Malia." Stiles greeted, watching Lydia with amusement.
"My wonderful boyfriend brought pizza, and since I'm such an amazing gracious person, I'll share. Where's Danny?" Stiles asked, distracted.
"What's up?" Danny joined the group. "Hey, do you mind if my friend Isaac hangs out with us? He doesn't have many friends."
Stiles offered a thumbs up. "Fine by me. Is this him?" he gestured to the curly-haired blonde boy standing next to Danny. Danny nodded. "Hi." Isaac waved to Stiles. Stiles studied him and smiled. "Hey, Isaac. Good to meet you. Are you going to be on the lacrosse team?"
Derek answered for him, putting his arms around Stiles' waist from behind. "That and he's the new Beta." Danny looked at Isaac, surprised to say the least. "You're a werewolf too? Am I the only normal one here?"
Stiles perked up. "What about me?" Danny looked him up and down. "You, Stiles? You're not normal." Stiles shrugged. "Can't argue with that."
Stiles led everyone to the benches on the sidewalk. Derek held out the pizza box, and everyone grabbed a slice.
Derek's wolf perked up as it noticed his scent couldn't be smelled on Stiles anymore (it was covered by the scents of about a hundred students,) and urged Derek to mark Stiles again.
But in the middle of a high school parking lot? Derek willed his wolf away, for now.
As they ate, Stiles got acquainted with Isaac, and Derek and Lydia had a very serious, hushed conversation. Danny and Kira discussed the news.
Stiles leaned into Derek, and Derek stroked his arm. Noticing this, Lydia squealed, "You guys are so cute!"
Derek's cheeks darkened, and Stiles took that as his cue to make an even bigger spectacle of himself.
Stiles slid into Derek's lap and stretched up to kiss him on the cheek. Then he pointedly tore a bite off of his pizza slice and dropped it in Derek's mouth.
Lydia whispered something in Danny's ear, and he doubled over with laughter. "What? What did she say?" Stiles asked Derek, knowing he could hear. Derek hesitated.
"She said... That all we need to do is the Aristocats scene with the spaghetti, and we'll make Cute Couple of the Year." he growled.
Stiles chuckled, dimples showing prominently. "Patience, Lydia. We're not eating spaghetti right now. But when we do, I'll be sure to send pictures." He winked, and Derek softly hit his leg.
Then, whispering quiet enough in Stiles' ear that the other werewolves couldn't hear, he said, "When that happens, the high point won't be a kiss. And let's just say that I'll be wearing about as much clothing as that cat. Hell, I might even wear a bow around my neck."
Stiles choked on his pizza, and Derek snickered, kissing his neck. "You knew that would have that effect on me! You suck!" Stiles exclaimed.
"I wasn't expecting a complaint for that." Derek replied, smirking.
Stiles blinked and took a deep breath to get himself (or, more specifically, Stiles Junior) back under control. "Fuck. You." he muttered. Derek winked. "Be my guest."
Lydia interrupted Stiles' snappy comeback with, "Okay, this has quickly escalated from 'aw, my little child is part of an adorable ship' to 'I should not be here for this'. Moving on! Danny, you should get going. You're on the other end of the school for next period, right?" Danny got up, and so did Malia. "I have the class next door to his class." she announced, and they left, waving goodbye to their friends.
Stiles watched them with interest, and then Lydia stood up. "Kira, you're with me. Isaac, what class do you have next?"
Isaac blinked. "Chemistry with Mr. Harris."
Lydia smiled. "You're not too far from our next class. Want to come with?" she offered. Isaac smiled. "Sure."
Stiles looked into his boyfriend's eyes. "Guess I'll see you after school." he murmured against Derek's lips.
"I'll be waiting." Derek chuckled, and kissed him, long and hard and proper.
Then Stiles stood, and headed for his class, blowing kisses to Derek.
Derek smiled, somewhat dreamily, and then got into his car and drove away. He wouldn't need his car. He had Stiles.
