It's been 2 weeks since Randy kissed me then awkwardly ran off, and today it will be one of he most awkward party I go to because today is Kim and Randy engagement party, and what makes it worse is I am going single.

When I walk in I see Randy's family and Kim's family. Then I see John, he and his date are laughing about something, but there is no way I am sitting by them.
I soon see Seth, Paige, and Alica, sitting at a table, but as I make my way over there I realize that Roman and Galina are there too. I try and turn around but it's too late, Paige already see's me and flags me down.
" Hey, everyone." I say as I take the only available seat next to Roman. "who's sitting here?" I ask trying to see her purse and suit jacket was at the next two chairs.
" Brie and Daniel." Roman says as he gives me a smile.
After 30 minutes of catching up with everyone, I realize that Randy and Kim are going around each table to thank them for coming. Which I didn't feel like putting myself through, so I get up.
" Hey, Alica you wanna go to the bar with me?"
" Yeah, I thought you never ask." The table start to laugh as we make our way to the bar.
" So how are you doing?" She ask
" I'm okay."
" I mean with John being like two tables away from us?"
" Oh well then I'm not okay."
" Yea, I figured."
" So are you seeing anybody?"
" No." I say lying. " I am single Nikki, right now."
" Well, sometimes it's good to be single. Because you get to explore your self and identity more."
" Wow, I never thought about it like that, thanks Foxy."
" No problem, but I think I downed to many glasses already and I am going to find the restroom."
" Okay, I'll be at the bar." I walk up the bartender, and ask for a glass of Merlot. As I wait for my drink I turn my head to see Kim behind me.

" Hi Nikki, can I talk to you?"
" Um yea of course." I grab my wine and follow her to the balcony. " So-"
" I need you to leave."
" I didn't do anything."
" I know, but Randy told me about you and him, and the fact that he couldn't keep his eyes off you all night, just doesn't sit right. So I am going to ask you one more time to leave or I would have security involved." She says with this fake smile.
" Fine, I'll grab my purse and go."
When I get back to the table, I grab my purse. "Where are you going?" Paige ask
" back to my hotel."
" But you haven't even been here an hour." Roman says
" I know but things happen. Tell Brie and Daniel I said hi." I then walk off and make my way to the elevator.

Once I get to the lobby, I take a few steps before hearing my name being called. I turn around to see Randy.
" Nikki! Where are you going?" He ask as he catches his breath.
" Where I belong, and I suggest you do the same." I say then walk away.
