Regret was in her mind as she sat aside her red head best friend in a dim hospital waiting room, almost like she was waiting to meet her death, she was only waiting to meet with Finns unsure gaze once again....and although she was here to prove a point to Sadie that she no longer had feelings for him...
She knew that wasn't true.
"You can come through and see him now girls"
The kind receptionist stated holding one arm up in the direction of Finns room and as Millie was reluctant to move Sadie grabbed her hand and pried her from the uncomfortable seat.
The pacing of her feet mixed with sadies was like a daunting drum roll and she wanted nothing more than to rip her hand away from sadies and run off in the direction of the exit but she couldn't do it and so when she entered the room and looked over to Finn who looked to her just as intensely, she knew she couldn't turn back....
"Hey Finn"
Sadie smiled now releasing Millie's Hand from her own
"Hey..."
Finn replied less ecstatically than the red heads greeting
"Well go on then Millie"
Sadie pushed shoving Millie forward to which she kept her head down not making eye contact with Finn until he shifted in the creaky bed and said
"Go on with what ?"
His voice was mixed with confusion and slight annoyance, he had every right to be since the girl who had avoided him was the same girl he saved the life of. And risked his life for
"I...it's nothing..."
Millie croaked finally looking up to him and meeting his dark gaze which sent shivers down her spine like the first time she realised she cared for him
But that was a while ago...now she was unsure
"I should go..."
Millie finished sounding disappointed but received a disgusted look from Sadie and a rather loud response from Finn
"Are you fucking kidding me !"
Finn raised with a scoff
Millie looked up swiftly to meet his anger, his brows basically intertwined as he bit his cheek from within his mouth
"I saved your life and this is how you treat me !"
Finn continued getting so caught up in his fury that he attempted to stand and although he winced from the pain he ignored it completely and walked towards her
"Finn you should lie Dow...."
Sadie began but he cut her off
