{LOUIS' POV}
*April 25th, 2015, 1:37 AM*
I stumbled into the flat at some ungodly hour in the morning, not even bothering to be quiet as the door slammed shut.
"Louis?" Someone called worriedly. I watched through fuzzy vision as someone turned the corner, rushing to me when they saw I was there.
"LOUIS WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?!!!" The person grabbed my shoulder's, staring angrily into my bloodshot eye's. Harry, I realised, was who it was. He started yelling at me; some kind of lecture that I unintentionally tuned out. I opened and closed my mouth uncomfortably, needing something wet to quench the dryness. I pulled myself from his grip, walking to the coffee table. I picked up the glass vase with the bouquet in it, pulling the flowers out.
".....AND ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!!" I pressed my lip's together tightly to contain my giggle's, but laughter soon sputtered from my mouth.
"THERE'S NOTHING FUNNY HERE LOUIS!!! I WAS WORRIED SICK!!!" I tuned him out once again in favor of pouring the water from the vase down my throat, still giggling. I barely took a sip before the glass was being ripped from my hand's and thrown across the room, shattering against the wall. Glass shard's and water flew everywhere.
"WHAT THE FUCK LOU!!!!" Harry screamed, pulling the flower's from my hand's as well. Rage was evident on his face as he threw them to the ground, stomping on them and grinding them into the carpet angrily. I couldn't help myself as I started laughing again, hand covering my mouth, but doing nothing to contain my giggle's. I cried out as a hand was suddenly twisted roughly in my hair, tilting my head back, forcing me to stare directly at Harry. He brought his rage filled face closer to flushed one; green against blue. He opened his mouth to say something, but stopped, looking confused as he leaned down to sniff my shirt. He started coughing, pulling back quickly with a disgusted look on his feature's.
"YOU'RE HIGH!!! LOUIS WHAT THE FUCK!!!!" He shouted. I whimpered, trying to pull back, but he only tightened his grip in my hair.
"YOU TOLD ME YOU WOULD STOP WITH THE DRUG'S!!! WHAT HAPPENED?!!!" His scream's came in muffled shout's through my ear's, his face blurring through my water-filled eye's.
"Y-You're hurting me...." I whispered hoarsely, a tear slipping down my cheek. His turned to horror as he realised what he had done, yanking back his hand as though he had burned.
"L-Louis I didn't mean to I'm sor-"
"Get back." I whimpered as he took a step toward's me. I took a step backward's, but my body still wasn't quite in control of itself, so I stumbled a bit, crying out when a sharp pain shot up through my foot. I fell to the ground, automatically throwing my hand's out to catch myself. I started to sob when pain erupted through both of my hand's.
"Louis!" Something warm ran down my finger's and toe's, and to my horror, it was blood. I flinched as Harry knelt down next to me, hand's gently grabbing my arm's as he carefully pulled me from the mess of shattered glass. He lifted me up bridal style -so I wouldn't walk on my foot- and carried me to the bathroom. But I was tense, watching him carefully to make sure there wasn't any threat of him harming me. He sat me down carefully on the counter before rummaging through the cabinet to pull out the first aid kit. I sniffed as more tear's slipped from my eye's, my buzz almost over, which only made the pain more real.
"This is gonna hurt... But I have to get the glass out." Harry said softly, sitting on the toilet seat as he gently pulled my foot onto his lap. I wiped at my nose with my sleeve, crying out loudly as the first shard was yanked out. Piece by piece, he got every little sliver of glass from my foot. Then, he cleaned it carefully before wrapping it tightly. My hands were the worst though. They hurt to the point where I was sobbing into Harry's neck, biting down on his shoulder as he whispered "I'm so sorry" for every piece he pulled out. Once they were cleaned and bandaged, I pulled back, only to flinch as Harry reached toward's my face, a whimper escaping my lip's.
"Shh Angel, it's alright." He whispered, thumb's wiping gently under my eye's.
"I'm so sorry. I was just worried. And when you weren't listening to me, I just got a little angry is all." He spoke gently, as though he were speaking to a toddler. I only nodded, leaning my head on his chest as I tried to silently reassure myself that this was just a one time slip up. That it wouldn't happen again. He only did it because he cared right? He just wanted me to listen to what he was saying. Which I supposed was understandable.
I wrapped my leg's tightly around his waist, and arm's around his neck as he lifted me from the counter and carried me from the bathroom. As he walked down the hall, I glanced into the kitchen, just barely catching sight of a petal floating down from the rose he had given me. I shrugged it off, closing my eye's as I laid my head on his shoulder. I felt myself being laid down on something soft a moment later, but too tired to reopen my eye's. My jean's were slowly peeled from my leg's, and cool sheet's were pulled up over them instead. A big hand pushed back the hair from my forehead, and warm lip's were pressed to the skin there. The last thing I heard before I fell asleep was a quiet, "I love you Louis."
