''Okay children , last exam of the semester, do it well, fortunately for you, it's going to be in pairs. I need you guys to conduct the copper and nitric acid experiment and get back to me with the results and I expect it back asap, now chop chop'' Mrs grandy said while repeatedly pushing her glasses up in a really geeky way. From the coners of the classroom, Maia and I eyed each other, We would definitely do this together, well I hope so at least
'' Wait guys, I forgot about this absolutely important thing and that is I paired you guys up '' I was in complete utter devastation, every time Mrs grandy pairs us up for pair work I was with either one of the science geeks or people who do give a damm about this thing.

''Ughhhhhhhh'' the whole class groaned on unison, I mean who like being with anyone other than their bestie
'' No more complains or individual work!'' She snapped.
The whole class shut their mouth up at  the thought of having to burn the midnight oil for a few nights to research on this on their own

Mark and Sarah
Henry and Lisa
Roselynn and tyson
Mason and Elizabeth
Maia and Jake .........''
I must have heard wrongly, TYSON??
Let me tell you that I would really rather partner up with those science geeks, at least they have the brains right?? But no, I got tyson, the tyson that I haven't seen in like ten years and the tyson now was undeniably hot, was it even possible to complete this project with someone who was as hot as the boiling acid, well in my case no. I never really took interest in chemistry and why? Part of it was I had Mason, tylor and tyson all in that class and the other part of it was oh wait there's no other part to it, so  long story short, chemistry was hated by me because of the three musketeers which were very coincidentally staring at me right at this instant.
Was Mason thinking about the kiss?
Why was tylor staring at me?
What am I going to do about Tyson?
Just what's wrong with my life these days, can't I live peacefully just like I did before.
'' I object!'' Mason roared from his seat
The whole class stared at him for like the third time this week, did he really have to make a scene again?
'' And may I ask what in the world is there for you to object to, Mr Mason summers'' Mrs grandy questioned Mason's abrupt behavior.
'' I want to partner roselynn, change my partner'' He said, not forgetting to turn my way and shooting me the most playboy look he could muster.
I did not hesitate for even a second to get up from my seat
''Unfortunately, I, roselynn gold wishes to partner anyone but Mason, congrats on getting rejected '' I stuck my tounge out at him before heading towards where tyson was sitting . I smiled at him only to receive that heartwarming smile I haven't seen In years.....
I looked towards Maia and I could tell you, she was more that happy to have Jake as her partner, he had been her crush for two years and she always wanted to be with him. Well at least my bestie was happy.
I turned back to face tyson, let's get the work done first.
'' What element is a girl's future best friend?''
He asked me snapping me out of my thoughts, I shrugged my shoulders in confusion. He carried on ''Well, it's carbon, get it?? Like carbon and diamonds, the link? '' I furrowed my eyebrows in utter confusion, tyson was a joker eh?
His smile slowly turned into a frown upon seeing me not finding his joke funny, I didn't want to hurt his feelings and started to chuckle, which no sooner tuned into me hysterically laughing, tyson joined in and we started laughing like we were high on laughing gas, but at that point, was it just me beacause I'm pretty sure I could fell the dark burning stare from the coner of them class, it was Tylor's........ but my only question was undoubtedly,
Why?
He confessed to me
He cherished me
I gave my heart to him
He cheated on me
Took my heart and crushed it
I dumped him
Which part of that heartbreaking story desevers a second look from tylor, the confessing part? Hell no.
I shrugged it off and continued discussing the experiment with tyson
''Rose , change partners '' Mrs grandy commanded
''Wha-t but I've already discussed the project with tyson?'' I stammered
''Hi sugar plum, guess what? I'm your new partner.'' Omg no, it was Mason.
'' Mrs grandy, please don't change my partner and let me work with such an idiot '' I pleaded but Mrs grandy cut me off by saying that I would fail chemistry if I didn't want to work with him,just then the bell to my next class sounded, I stormed out of Chemistry class fuming with rage.
Next class
English
I absolutely love English, no Mason, no tyson and no tylor, in short my dream class.
The door swung open I quickly got to my feet and bowed down to greet the teacher except there was one problem, it wasn't the teacher, it was Mason, the Mason who doesn't take this damm class. Mason chuckled at my reaction and strolled over to the empty seat beside mine, I didn't bother fighting with him, in fact, I don't even feel like talking to that asshole.
Ignore that
Ignore that prickly feeling
Ignore the fact that Mason was currently poking me with his pencil trying to get me to speak
Well I couldn't
''Mason summers do you mind just getting out of my life and you know disappear and from my sight,things have gone all wrong ever since I met you that morning and it's all your damm fault and I don't want you close to me and annoying the hell out of me and about the kiss last night, yes I still hate you for it and I will never forgive you and your playboy ways you scumbag.'' I screamed at him, infront of all my classmates. It was then that I knew I messed up, congrats to myself, now everyone knew Mason kissed me, could my life get any better. A glint of hurt flashed in Mason's eyes, but it didn't disappear like it was suppose to, it remained there as he walked out solemnly.
Oh God, what have I done.
Lunch period came quick and I still haven't gotten over the fact that I screamed at Mason and the other fact that now everyone in school knows that Mason kissed me.
'' She must have seduced him, what a slut ''
''Guess that cute little Mason was her rebound''
''Do you know what? Today when Fred came into English class to tell us that Mason kissed roselynn, guess what happened? Tylor got up and stomped out of class furiously and he almost beat Fred to death.''
WOAH WOAH WOAH wait a minute there.
Where they talking about my ex tylor, the one that had decided to cheat on me, getting furious about me with another guy and not to forget him staring at me non-stop during chemistry class, well that was hella uncomfortable.

God heard me
Tylor pulled me into the janitors closest within a swift second, damm I should have paid more attention to my surroundings.
'' What do you want, cheater?'' I asked, feeling very provoked
''Rose, listen to me please. I want you back and I promise I won't cheat on you again just give me one more chance please, I know I still love you, I got furious when I heared Mason had kissed you and not to mention rose but I get angry too when I see you with other guys, that's love right? Rose, please just please'' He pleaded
I slapped him, that sounded so sick
''That's not love you psychopath, that's called being overly possesive, get out of my life, you will never be given a second chance, CHEATERS WILL ALWAYS CHEAT and you are no different'' I shouted
The door creaked open, it was Mason, he pulled me towards him and punched tylor in the face. Now it was my turn to pull him away before he beats the hell out of tylor.
I took him to the beautiful garden behind the school and pushed him down onto the bench, I took out my first aid kit, don't ask why I weirdly have one but safety first. I dabbed his wounds gently and applied medicine on his bruised face, wait, hold up, why were there even bruises,I was at the scene and I pretty sure tylor never got to lay his hands on Mason's face.
''Mason, what happened?''
'' Nothing ''
I took the alcohol wipes and dabbed his wounds not so gently till he spoke
''Fine, fine,fine. I fought with tyson, he heard we kissed,got mad and picked a fight with me and I was fighting with him when I heard you scream.''
I sighed heavily
''If I hadn't scream both of you would be better if dead by now''
His cheeks flushed with embarrassment as he took my hand in his, he stroked my fingers and gently whispered to himself but I heard it, ''It's all worth it if your safe my sugar plum''
And snap, just like that, that mysterious feeling that was yet to be identified came rushing back, what should I do with Mason?
