Chapter 22

Luke's p.o.v

Today was Christmas. It was going to be a little awkward. I mean I am living with Ashton's family. With the money I have I bought everyone a Christmas present. It's the least I could do for them basically saving my life. Ashton came in my room saying Merry Christmas and to come downstairs. I quickly got up and walked downstairs to the living room. I didn't know what to expect today. All I knew was that Ashton's family was coming over for supper. I said Merry Christmas and sat down. We all made our way to the dining room. They made waffles and hot chocolate for breakfast. After we ate we went back to the living room. I was surprised to see a stocking with my name on it. They were handed out and we opened them. After the stockings we started opening presents.

About an hour later all the presents were opened. Well Ashton's grandparents were still coming over though. I thanked them for everything and then checked my phone. I got a text from my brothers. They were saying Merry Christmas to me. I replied and then put my phone down. I wonder what Michael and Calum are doing. They are coming over at night to sleep over. Anne was preparing lunch do I decided to help her. I walked into the kitchen asking her what I couls do. She handed me crackers, cheese, a knife and 2 platters. I started cutting the cheese into rectangles and placing them on the platter. After making it look nice I set it on the dining table and started with the crackers. I poured each kind of cracker onto the platter and set it with the cheese. After putting the cheese back into the fridge and crackers into the pantry Anne was just finishing up. The doorbell rang. Ashton went to open it inviting his grandparents in. They sat down in the living room and then I was introduced to them. When it was time for lunch we sat around the table and ate. After lunch they exchanged presents with their family.

Michael's p.o.v

Tonight I was going over to Ashton's house to hang out with my friends. I grabbed my bag and packed some clothes in it. Calum's dad was driving us over. My mom and I didn't do much for Christmas. With the money I had from my job I bought her a necklace that she saw in a store once and liked. She got me a new pair of headphones since mine broke. Tonight I had a plan. I was going to tell Luke that I liked him. I just hope that it isn't too soon. He just broke up with Ethan. I looked out the window seeing Calum and his dad pulling into the driveway. I said goodbye to my mom and got into the car. When I was in I said Merry Christmas to them. When we got to Ashton's house we knocked on the door waiting for them to open it.

Michael: Merry Christmas Bitches!

We said hello to his family and then went to Ashton's room. We immediately went to play on his x box.

Calum: I wish we could have more time off of school!

Ashton: Yeah 2 weeks is not nearly enough.

Luke: Fuck I died. I'll be back I'm just going to the bathroom.

Luke left the room and I immediately paused the game.

Calum: Hey I was just about to kill you!

Michael: I think I am going to ask Luke out.

Ashton: Fucking finally! When are you doing it?

Michael: Tonight.

Calum: Anne has that thing of mistletoe downstairs. Just walk under it with him and kiss the fuck out of him!

Michael: We need to make an excuse to go back downstairs.

Ashton: Here finish this bag of chips.

The bag was basically empty. I finished what was left and set the bag back down. Luke walked back into the room.

Ashton: Let's go downstairs to get more chips.

Luke: Ok.

We walked down the stairs to the kitchen. After picking what kind of chips we wanted we walked into the living room. Calum and Ashton deliberately stood under the mistletoe and kissed. Luke walked pass them and I quickly followed him.

Michael: Hey it's our turn.

Luke: What?

I didn't think and I just kissed him. Everyone was watching to see his reaction. When we pulled away he leaned back in and kissed me. He grabbed my hand and lead me to his bedroom.

Ashton: Have fun! Also be quiet my sister's room is right beside yours!
