We left the airport after we got my luggage and we set out heading to town first to get a few more things from the fresh market and then head home. It was so lively on our drive home, we drove up to the house and got settled. Jean's parents will only be here tomorrow.

'Sweetheart I can't believe the place you kids booked us into it is amazing.' Dad spoke and Jean gave me a look. I sighed tiredly and nod my head. Mom and dad just looked between Jean and me and had a question mark on their faces.

'Mom, dad this is not a bed and breakfast. I own this property.'

'You own it? How?'

'You remember I started my Virtual Assistant business online when I left home to travel.'

'Yes, what about it.' Mom asked.

'Well, it is going really well financially for me so while I was on my hiking holiday here on summer break last year, when I was in this town. Well, I passed the realtors office and this property was on their repossession listing list and the agent drove me out here and well here we are. On our vineyard in Verona.'

'This was a bank repo?' Dad asked and looked at this place anew.

'Yes, and I had a few things done to it while I waited for it to register on my name.'

'What have you done to it?' Mom asked walking over to me.

'Oh, we repainted the roof and the shutters and the inside. It was a bunch of different depressing colors so I repainted it as it is now.' I spoke as we all walked into the house.

'Why haven't you told us about this massive step you took.'

'It is just a house daddy nothing more. But you guys have clearly been here a while already so you all must have seen everything. So what do you think of this place?' I was really curious to find out what they think of it.

'It is a marvelous estate.' They both spoke in unison.

'When I bought it the vineyard was only an open field with nothing in the soil we planted all the seedlings last season and they took really well and now look at them all. These grapes we planted will be made into our own wine I will have our first harvest wines be couriered over to you once it is ready to drink. Mr. Povlo Geovetti is in charge of the whole winemaking process.'

'Yes, we met him. A nice man, from the little we talked.' Dad aired all the tension eased away as we started to talk about lighter things. By early evening we started the barbeque and placed some nice meat on the grill and had a yummy cookout. Mom and I made a few salads while dad and my brother bond with Jean while they grill our steaks. The smell drifts into the house.

'So how did the exams go honey?' Mom asked while she was busy cutting up a cucumber for a salad.

'Oh, exams were tough. I wrote my last three exams this morning.'

'What subject did you write this morning?' She asked curious.

'Modern English, French and Turkish.'

'Why French and Turkish?'

'I enrolled in these language courses at the beginning of the year so I can communicate with the Europeans.'

'What other languages have you learned with French and Turkish.

'Spanish and Italian.' I answer as I place the salad in the fridge.

'Goodness, now I understand Jean when he said you overwork yourself too much and that he is really worried about you.' Mom aired as we clean up the kitchen and took the guys drinks outside.
