I hop out the shower and throw on some leggings and a black t shirt with a f/c trench coat. I throw my hair up a messy bun and walk into Slenders office.

"Y/n, sit down."

I look around and see 5 familiar faces. Masky, Hoodie, Toby, EJ and Jane.

"So?"

"We are going to be training you to become a proxy- that is if you want to, or you can face the consequences, you're choice." Slender looks at me intently. I don't get how they can find joy out of this.

"Well I don't see why not, and how long will training last?"

"Until you're good enough." He stands up resting his hand on the desk.

"When do I start?"

"Right now." Slender then teleports us outside.
I look around to see the once green lively leaves now red, orange, and brown.

"It's so pretty..." I say under my breath.

"Don't get too dis-tracted, that will cost you." I hear Toby say. From the past three days me and Toby have quite a good bond. He's like my brother. My brother was always very talkative. Talkative in the annoying way. He found ways to push my buttons I didn't even know existed.

"Okay, Toby you can start for today." Slender says. He then hands me my baseball bat.

"Y-you ready y/n/n?" Toby asks while smiling.

"Yeah! But if you don't mind me asking, what exactly will be doing."

"Well, we will be doing a classic game of hide and seek. This will tell me how good you are at hiding under stressful situations." Toby explains.

"Seems manageable, but why do I need my baseball bat?" I ask.

"Well, since I can't feel pain, if I catch you or am close to you- attack me!" Toby then grabs my hand and pulls me into the forest.

EJ's pov

The way she smiles whenever she is around Toby hurt. I hardly know her yet I feel this urge to hold on to her, to not let her out of my sight. I can tell she has been through hell and back, but yet, she seem so innocent. I want her to trust me. I want to know her secrets that she would never tell anyone else.

"Hey Slender? Have you figured out why y/n was crying?" I ask look up to Slender.

"No I haven't child." Lie.

"Alright." I look up to see Toby and y/n holding hands. That's it. I start to walk forward but I feel myself get lifted up.

"I have a job for you," Slender says while setting me down, "I think I know the reason why she is hurting. But I need you to read through this."

Slender hands me a f/c journal. It has y/n's initials on it. "How the fuck did you get this, it's their personal property."

"Yes, but she is hiding her past. You either get close to her or read this."

"I can't do both?"

"Sure do both, but when she gets back from training put that in her room." I sigh and nod. I walk back towards the mansion.

"Hi EJ!" Sally comes running down the stairs.

"Hi sals." I pat her head and walk through the doors.

"What's that?" She points at the f/c journal in my hands.

"A journal that slender wanted me to return to his office." I lie. I feel bad lying to Sally, but she and y/n are also pretty close. I can't let Sally know just incase she tells y/n.

I walk into Slenders office and sit in one of the chairs. I read through the first entry, it is kinda sad that she never got any love from her mom.. but it isn't too uncommon around here. I read through the first few sentence of entry two. This one caught my interest (I was gonna put 'caught my eye' but he doesn't have any hahah, what a comedian...)
