Soojin stared at him, shocked at the words that had just come out of his mouth.
'Did he really mean that?' She thought to herself.
Her lips curled into a smile, she didn't know him well enough.
And she wanted that to change. Just before she could ask her question she noticed 8 boys walking towards them.As they came closer she realized it was the same guys from earlier, Jeongin and Felix were there, also the guy who looked like a squirrel.
She looked amongst them and made eye contact with Chan, he seemed to be doing better."Soojin.." Chan began "I'm really sorry... I should've had better control, I was in no place to harm you like I did. I hope you can find it in your heart, to forgive me." He sounded sincere, she could tell her really meant it.
Although she knew he didn't mean to, she still kept her distance.
"You're forgiven." She said politely, she didn't want to hold this against him.
That would be foolish, and useless.
She smiled as she watched his face brighten up, "Thank you!" He said happily, "Oh we should introduce ourselves." The one with the squirrel face said, "I'm jisung. And that's, Woojin, Changbin, Seungmin, and Minho" He added as he pointed to each person."Nice to meet you all, I'm Soojin" She smiled,
"By the way, how did you end up at this school?" Woojin asked, "Well, I transferred from America, since most of my family lives here, we wanted to be closer." She explained "Then my mom found this school about a week after we arrived, she said it was a top school, and had me transfer here."
Soojin finished explaining to them, she was going to tell him about what happened during her time in America but decided to just keep the personal information to herself."Ah okay, that makes sense." Woojin replied, "How are there so many vampires here?" She asked, waiting for a reply from any of them.
"Well you see Soojin, you moved into a town where the majority of the population are vampires. Vampires have existed for a long time.
They traveled around and soon ended up here, since it was the safest and the furthest from humans." She looked at Hyunjin, listening to his reply, while nodding."So I moved to a vampire town?" She tried to make sense of it, even though she had gotten bitten, she still couldn't wrap her mind around the thought of there being vampires.
"Yeah, I guess you could put it that way." Felix answered. The first thing that came to mind was her family, "W-wait would that mean my family is in danger, from living here?" She asked, Jeongin noticed the worry across her face and sat down next to her, rubbing her shoulders.
"No, not at all. While vampires here last on blood bags from the hospitals from nearby towns. And then there's the few that are unable to, since their body won't let them." She listened closely, letting out a sigh of relief. "And then there's the blood moon, like today, that makes vampires crave blood from the vein." Hyunjin explained, "That's why Chan bit you, he didn't mean to. But because of the blood moon, he was unable to control it." She nodded.
"That helps me understand, thank you." She smiled at all of them. "Oh, how often does the blood moon occur?" She asked, "Once every other month." Woojin answered.
"Okay." She smiled, "Oh! We need to get back to class." She said standing up, reaching up to touch the bandage on her neck. Making sure it was still in place, and not going to come off.
She fixed her clothing. Hiding the blood on her collar with her hair. She started walking back towards the school, staying close to Hyunjin. Not so close that it looked awkward, but because she got nervous walking through the halls and running into the girls from earlier.
She took a deep breath, she didn't want something so small to bother her.
Since it was lunch time the guys walked towards the cafeteria, Soojin following close behind.
When she walked in she noticed the female that had told her to stay away from hyunjin was right there, she noticed Soojin right away. She stopped for a moment, catching Jisung's attention. "You okay Soojin?" He asked, wondering why she stopped.
She focused on him and nodded "Yeah I'm alright." She continued walking, staying right by them. She tried to get used to the vampires staring at her, it made her feel a little insecure. She was already different as is.
All 9 of the guys were in front of her, she got her lunch. Not thinking too much on what she got.
She followed behind them towards their table, getting a little lost in the process. There being so many people, she felt a small tug on her arm and then a sting.
Soon finding her way through the crowd, she sat down. She was next to jisung and seungmin, she looked at her arm.Wondering what the sting was, she noticed that her blazer and top had been ripped on her upper arm.
And there was a cut, she covered it with her hand, but by then it was too late. She looked around to try and figure out how it happened, until she spotted the female from the restroom. With a small pocket knife in her hand, an evil smirk formed on her face.
She looked back at the table, all nine males staring at her.
That's when she realized, she was screwed.
