day thirteen

Soojin smiled, nodding to Hyunjin as she reached for his hand, just as her hand touched his, everything went dark. Complete darkness surrounded her, she couldn't see anything at all. It was like someone had covered her eyes with a dark cloth, but there was nothing touching her. She felt cold; and confused.

'What's going on..' is all she could think about, she groaned as she rubbed her eyes, opening her eyes for a moment, only to close them again by the bright sunlight that was blinding, as it lights up her bedroom through her sheer curtains. Sitting up in her bed slowly as she looked down at her lap to give her eyes some time to adjust to the bright sunlight.

She realized that she was in her bedroom, her room was cleaned up. She wasn't in her outfit that she thought she had just put on. "Wait-" She started and rushed out of bed, running to the restroom to look in the mirror. "Was it all..." She paused as she studied her facial features in the mirror. "Just a dream?..." She opened her mouth, trying to see if she had fangs like she thought she had, but... she didn't. Just her regular teeth that she's always had. 

She averted her eyes to her neck, "If it wasn't a dream I would have two bite marks right??" She moved her dark brown hair out of the way, only revealing one bite mark. And she knew it was only Chan's bite mark.. It hadn't fully healed yet?? She thought it was already healed, but she also thought that she was a vampire.

"I was never a vampire..." She breathed out, barely able to process what was happening right now, "I had clear memory of being a vampire.. I was about to go on my first date with Hyunjin.. how was it all just a dream??"

She then looked at her arm, no wounds, nothing...

it never happened.

"It really was all ... just a dream..."

"but how?..."

"It felt so real.."

"There's NO possible way it was just a dream.."

Soojin sighed to herself and turned off the restroom lights and went over to bed, seating herself on her bed, "It was a long dream at that." she said to herself, running her hands through her hair. It didn't feel like a dream, it felt so real. The girl lost in confusion, how was it just a dream? One of the many thoughts that went through her mind. A knock at her bedroom door interrupted her thoughts as she got up from her bed and opened her bedroom door, Jeongin was there, and her brother. 

"He came by to see how you were doing, figured you knew him" Her brother said with the slightest smile, 'wait... he never injected me with whatever it was?? what's going on here??'  She nodded to her brother, returning the smile as she let Jeongin come into her bedroom-leaving the door open. "What's up?" She asked Jeongin, "Nothing much, You just haven't been to school in a few days so I figured I'd see if you're okay"

'A few days?? How long have I been asleep??' 

She looked at him stunned, lost for a moment before giving him a small smile.

"I'm okay, don't worry. I just haven't been feeling myself lately. But I'll be back at school tomorrow" She answered, giving an excuse since she obviously had no idea what was going on here.

"Okay that's good"

"I really need to ask you something jeongin.."

"Okay, what's wrong?"

"What's going on?"
