BayFall awoke to see DustDawn.
"Come on, we're naming the kits who perished this moon.." She meowed.
"Alright.." He responded.
He padded out with DustDawn.
"DriftClan, gather around.. We shall name the kit that have perished this moon, and give them their warrior names." DustDawn called. "First, are PetalKit and ChirpKit, who died from starvation. They shall be named PetalFire and ChirpBird. Then, we have MinnowKit, LarkKit, and GingerKit. They were murdered by FlintStar, sadly. Their names shall be MinnowStream, LarkHawk, and GingerSwoop."
DustDawn fell silent for a moment.
"Finally.. We name TawnyKit, she was killed by a badger.. Her name shall be TawnyFlight." She meowed.
BayFall blinked. He guessed that DustDawn named PetalFire and ChirpBird in respect to MarigoldPetal and DarkSky. The cats dipped their heads, and he did the same.
"I have also gotten news that FlintStar has been killed. Me, and the rest of the MossClan cats shall leave home now." DustDawn meowed.
The cats dipped their heads again in respect to DustDawn. The pale brown she-cat hopped down and let her deputy, DriftWhisker, step up onto the log.
"Come on now, BayFall, let us go." DustDawn meowed.
He watched as DustDawn, FlameKit, SandyKit, LeafKit, FrostKit, and RainKit began leaving.
"BayFall! BayFall, help! ReedSkip is kitting!" BubbleNose screamed.
"O-Oh, alright!" BayFall meowed, following the gray she-cat into the nursery.
