Meanwhile Kamal had been trying Mubeen's number but it wasn't going through.

He never bothered because Mubeen had the habit of switching off his phone when he is stressed.

Lubna came back with the children accompanied by their nanny.

Where is Intisar? Hajiya asked when she saw her with the nanny and not with Intisar.

Something came up so I dropped her at the hospital. Lubna replied faking a smile.

Okay so how is Mubeen, hope he is doing fine? I don't know why his line is not connecting. She bombarded her with another questions.

Lubna just collected Anwar from the nanny and gave her transport fare.

Hajiya just kept staring at them. Is anything wrong with Mubeen?

Hajiya asked her again. This time sounding more tensed.

For some seconds, Lubna did not know what to say.

Spare me that, just take me there at once. She said thunderously which got Lubna startled.

Lubna struggled to pick the children up at once but it was a bit difficult.

Hajiya noticed that so she assisted her and took Zahra in her arms.

It took them 40 minutes to get to the hospital.

Immediately they alighted from the car, Hajiya ran inside shouting Innalillahi wa'inna ilaihi rajiun.

Many who recognized her as Mubeen's mother took pity on her. She went straight to the room, following Lubna behind.

Her wails and cry attracted many viewers. Everyone just shook their heads when they saw the condition her son was.

Hajiya sat down on the bed he was and placed his legs on her laps and cried her eyes out.

No one could console the other as Intisar and Lubna also joined her.

Doctor Sabrina came in and was surprised to see Hajiya.

She went to her and placed her hand on her shoulder saying, In Sha Allah he will be fine.

Doctor is my son still alive, why is he not moving? She asked in teary eyes.

Hajiya he is still alive, he is just unconscious. Doctor Sabrina said calmly.

How can you count someone who is in a vegetative state among the living? Hajiya asked her again wiping off her tears with her veil.

Before the doctor could answer, Hajiya stood up and headed towards the door.

Where are you going this way? Doctor Sabrina asked her.

Am going to confront the one responsible for this. She must tell me why my son is in this condition. She replied and burst into another cry.

Doctor Sabrina held her on the shoulder and made her sit. Please be seated, don't go to her. She said to her.

The news of Mubeen's condition spread like wildfire.

When it got to Kamal, he did not go to the hospital rather he went to Munaya's house.

The security man opened the gate for him and he pushed him aside and ran inside like a mad man.

Munaya was surprised to see him. She stood up and stand akimbo saying, "so he sent you to me instead of coming himself". I wonder which husband does that.

Shut up!!! Kamal bellowed. I was not sent here by anyone.

I came on my own free will. I swear to God, if my friend did not survive this, I won't spare you too..

He said pointing a finger at her, then he turned and left.
