Chapter Thirteen

They came out of the car almost the same time carrying the children.

When they reached the entrance door, they heard a voice calling out for Intisar behind them.

They turned and behold it was Munaya.

Wow look how you have changed. Munaya said when she approached them.

Intisar smiled and they exchanged pleasantries.

Lubna this is Munaya, a friend I met at Paris.

Munaya this is Lubna, my kid sis. She said to both of them.

They shook hands and also exchanged pleasantries.

It has been awhile dear, how is Adnan? Munaya asked Intisar. Her mood changed immediately.

It was Lubna who managed to reply her "he is late".

Ohh am sorry about that, may his soul rest in peace. She said and they both replied Ameen.

This must be his children, she said and collected Zahra from her. Intisar only nodded.

They are both cute, she said smiling and playing with Anwar.

She gave Zahra back to Intisar and collected Anwar from Lubna.

How is the family? Intisar asked her and she smiled before saying, my dear am still single.

Probably waiting for mr perfect. Lubna added and they all giggled.

They continued their discussion as they walk into the mall.

They had alot to buy, Munaya also bought alot of baby clothes and toys for the children especially Anwar.

After shopping, they exchanged contacts and bid each other goodbye.

Lubna had called Hajiya earlier to enquire for Mubeen's address so she just drove there straight.

When they got there, the door was wide open so they just walked in but stopped halfway when they noticed the way the house was a mess.

Lubna noticed a lifeless body lying on the floor and she shouted.

She kept Anwar on the couch and ran out to call for help.

She came back with three men who helped carried him to the car.

She drove him to the hospital and since it was an emergency, he was attended to immediately.

She went to Doctor Sabrina's office and informed her about the situation.

Doctor Sabrina warned her not to inform Hajiya. She assured her that everything will be alright.

Intisar did not hesitate to clean up the mess when they left, she made sure everything is in order before she called Lubna to come pick her up.

Mami guess who i saw today. Munaya said to her mummy when she came in and sat on the couch.

Who is it? Her mummy asked.

I saw Intisar at the shopping mall today. You remember her right. 'She said smiling'.

Ofcourse I do remember her. Her mummy replied.

Mami she is looking so good, she even has twins. Munaya said adjusting her sitting position.

Mami it's been two weeks now and Mubeen is yet to come for me. Munaya said to her mummy concerned.

My dear, he won't come for you, can't you see he has truly shown you his true colors.

When we were stopping you from getting married to him, you thought we hated you.

Now see what your stubbornness has caused you. Her mummy said in a terrified manner.

Mami please stop it, allow me to face what am going through. He is my husband and I love him

If he does not come for me, I will go to him. She said and left to her room banging the door behind her...

Mami just stared at her till she was out of sight then murmured, you will only go to him after my dead body.

The doctors tried all they could and were only able to revive back his breath. Mubeen's condition is beyond explanation.

Doctor Sabrina came out of the room sweating profusely.

She went straight to her office with her children following her behind.

Mummy how is he? Intisar asked with teary eyes.

My dear he is still unconscious, we already revived back his breath.

His condition is critical, he really need our prayers.

He will be fine In Sha Allah, don't worry.
