Chapter 15

CLINT'S POV

Love is for children, is what she said.

Now look at us.

We've been dating for four months.

I spun her around on the dance floor as both of us started to get a little tipsy.

Only a couple shots, not too many.

I held her body close to mine and consumed her perfume.

She smells of flowers .

Our faces inched closer and I kissed her softly on the nose.

She giggled and wrinkled her nose.

" you missed." She whispered, running her hands down my back.

I smirked and pressed my lips against hers.

She kissed back harder until we were full on making out on the dance floor.

I stopped her suddenly and put my hand on her shoulder.

" not here." I said softly.

She pouted slightly and took my hand." Then lets go somewhere else."

Minutes later we were in my room, on my bed.

I rolled on top of her and started to unzip her dress, while kissing her.

She pulled me in closer, while wrapping her legs around my waist.

Once both our clothes were off we started at it again.

She kissed my jawline and all over my face.

It went on like this hours until finally we were lying side by side on the bed.

She was starting to doze off .

I stroked her hair and pulled the covers up closer.

I sighed.

Why must our jobs always get in the way?

I took a deep breath and spoke softly.

" I love you Natasha."

The only response I got was a deep sigh.

Right, of course she never heard that.

I groaned inwardly and lay my head on the wall, as my eyes slowly closed and I was welcomed back into the world of dreams.

ZOE'S POV

" beautiful night isn't it?"

I turned to the voice and smiled." It is."

Loki came and stood next to me at the railing and looked out to the sky." You don't sound so sure of yourself."

I stiffened at the thought and my head fell." It's true . I'm not. Loki. There's ears everywhere."

I could hear him sigh slightly." Is there anything you want me to do?"

I shook my head." This is my mission. Their after me. I don't want to drag you guys into this."

" but were your friends. Friends help each other."

I nodded." But not always. Sometimes they need to-"

" hold that thought." I said quickly and suddenly I was switched into my uniform.

" I'll be right back."

I said softly before jumping off the balcony.

I landed seconds later on one knee and looked up to Loki.

He was about to yell out to me but I waved my hand and suddenly he shut up.

I crept around a building and towards the ally where my unsuspecting victim stood.

" hey." I yelled .

He whipped around and grinned devilishly.

I smirked back and took out my taser.

" night night." I smirked.

I tasered him and grinned as he fell to the ground.

I dragged his body into the tower quietly.

" JARVIS. Interrogation room." I said sternly.

The elevator started moving quickly to its destination.

Finally after a couple minutes we arrived and I pushed his dull lifeless body into a chair, and chained him up.

Then I sat down on the desk and waited.
