Maria's Point of View
Maria and her daughter, Amelia, have been wondering the streets for two weeks now. Maria was still searching for a job so she continues to take care of her beautiful daughter. She even went to Mrs. Becky for help.
"Please, I really need a job," Maria told Mrs. Becky after she walked Amelia to school.
"I wish I can help you, but I can't just give you the job,' Mrs. Becky said, "You have to get certified first, which means you would have to go to college, but what I can do is keep Amelia after school for free while you are looking for a job."
"Thank you so much," Maria hugged and said her goodbyes to Mrs. Becky, and she continued her search in finding a job.
Every morning, Maria take Amelia to a gas station to get clean to go to school. Mrs. Becky gave Maria and Amelia five shirts and five pairs of jeans to wear. At night time, They sleep in a run down building, so they will be saved from all they thieves that are lurking the streets.
"Mommy, I'm cold," Amelia told her mother.
"I know, sweetie, I know." said Maria.
Maria pulled her daughter close, and they fell asleep in each other arms.
Marcus's Point of View
Marcus was on his way to Alice's house. He had thought about what Josh was telling him. He really does love Alice with all his heart, even though, she can spend over fifty thousand every day on materialistic things. Marcus had the engagement ring in his right pants pocket. He was trying to think about what he was going to say once he gets there.
Marcus pulled up at Alice's home, but he sees another car in the driveway. He didn't know who the car belong to, so Marcus got out of his car and started to investigate it. He knew that it was not her mother or father car because they both drives a Mercedes Benz. Marcus tried to open the door, but it was locked. He tried to knock, but no one came to the door. Marcus unlock the door with the key Alice hidden under one of her flower pot.
Inside of Alice's House, The living room is the first room when entering the house. This room is filled with very lively furniture. Comfortable, tan leather couches, colorful rugs on the bare wood floor, and a large display case with pictures, books, and many memories of friends and family. And he mustn't forget about the enormous window that, during the day, will let as much sunlight and energy in the room as it possibly can.
Marcus continued to walk until he heard a sound coming from upstairs. He then started up the stairs to see where the sounds coming from.
"Ohmigosh, Chris! You are amazing," Alice moaned.
"I know I am, baby," The guy said.
Marcus didn't know that was going on, so he hurried to Alice's bedroom. When he got here, he opened the door to find her and some guy in the bed naked.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" Marcus yelled.
"MARCUS, what are you doing here?" Alice asked as she was trying to cover her body with the covers.
"Well, Io was here to ask you to marry me, but it looks like you are too busy," Marcus said as she starting to back up to leave the room.
"Baby, wait! I'm sorry. Please, just don't go. It was nothing. He was nothing." Alice told Marcus as she was trying to get up.
Marcus run out the car, got into it, then drove off. He was coming from his now ex-girlfriend's house when he almost hit a woman with a child in her arms. Marcus got out off his 2014 Infiniti Q70 Hybrid to see if they were okay. When he got to them he realize that the woman or the child did not have shoes on. He knew something was wrong with them, then that when it hit him that the woman was Maria from the law firm
Maria did not who the man was, but she that that he looked amazing.
"Are you okay?" The Marcus asked.
"Yes," Maria responded as she was still taking the man good looks in. Maria knew that something caught the man's eye.
"Do you need a ride? I would love to take you anywhere you want to go," he replied.
"I don't have anywhere to go. I lost everything," Maria said to him.
"Well, you can stay with me for the night," Marcus told her.
"No, we are fine, but thanks." Maria told him.
"Please, I will not harm you or your daughter. You have my word. It is too cold to be sleeping out here." Marcus replied.
Maria thought for a minute. then she agee to go with him. He helped Maria and her daughter get into the car, then he drove them to his house.
