"Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more." ~H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

Normally, when you go back to school with a boyfriend, people stare for a bit and move on. Not the girls at my school. It seems now that Abel is even more unavailable, they want him more.

I slam my bag onto the table in the common room, "I swear if one more girl walks up to Abel and starts feeling him up, I'm gonna flip so hard."

"I'm guessing they aren't getting the message that he's a taken boy." Evelyn points out.

"Or they received the message but ignored it." Adds Ana.

"I don't think that helped her Ana." Raphael gives his girlfriend an amused look even though none of this is funny.

"No, it didn't help and it's not funny either Raph. Even more girls than usual are pawing at him like animals. Do they not understand the meaning of relationship? Come on people!" I yell in frustration and lay my head against the table.

"Well, have you seen your man? I have to say that he is probably one of the most attractive guys I have ever seen. If he wasn't completely smitten by you, he'd be the first person on my list."

"That probably helped even less Ran." States Rolo.

"I was just being honest."

"Be a little less honest next time."

Rolo and Rani continue to bicker while the cool surface of the table becomes my friend. I think about how often Abel and I got interrupted just because someone else wanted to talk to him. I'd like to point out that I'm not one of those ridiculously possessive girlfriends-at least I don't think I am-but there's only so much one girl can take.

I'm ripped from my thoughts by the feeling of hands stroking my head. "Hey Brown Eyes."

I only grunt in response.

"What's wrong with her?" He directs this towards the others.

"Your multiple fan girls, that's what's wrong."

Instead of responding, Abel leans his head against the table as well and looks at me. "No one else matters except you Keziah. All I see is you."

In the background, I hear Evelyn tell Israel how cute we are.

"That's not the point Abel." I lift my head from the table, "The point is that you receive an unbelievable amount of attention from the female species even when I'm around! I literally become invisible and ignored. But the worst part is the constant touching. A stroke of your bicep, a hand on your chest. It's absolutely ridiculous and there's pretty much nothing I can do about it without coming across as the crazy psychotic jealous girlfriend." I'm breathing heavily by the end of my rant, feeling more irritated as I talk about it.

I look at Abel and find him smiling slightly. His eyes are sparkling at the idea that I'm jealous. Even though he's trying to hide it, he likes the idea that I'm jealous and despite not liking the feeling very much, I kind of like that he likes I'm jealous. It means that he really doesn't care about anyone else.

"You're so jealous, aren't you?" He asks smugly.

"I think we've already established that." I respond dryly.

He leans in close to me placing his lips right by my ears, "It's so hot when you get like this. It makes me want to kiss you so badly." His warm breath fans against my skin sending a shiver of delight over my body.
