4/ Friendship Necklace

China

I woke up to Cameron and Karan staring at me hardcore and I'm not going to lie when I say i was freaked out and wanted to punch them both in the face. They know I'm not a morning person.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" I asked sleepily

"Yeah. Drool." Karan Laughed and right after he said it Cameron Elbowed him.

"No, Chi don't listen to him." Cameron rolled his eyes.

"Then what's going on because you two only stare at me when I'm sleeping when you have bad news to tell me." I sighed.

"Actually we don't have bad news to tell you. Cameron just needs to talk to you. If you guys need me I'll be in the other room." He paused for a minute and then turned to look at us "China.. please dear baby Jesus do not throw anything." Karan pleaded.

Okay now I know that something is for sure up. They both know I don't throw anything unless I'm pissed. I looked at Cameron waiting for him to spill.

"What's the news dude?" I asked, watching him be very hesitant towards me.

"China. I really like Saffie which is why I needed to talk to you." He replied. That honestly stung and now I know where this is going.

"Cameron...You've known her for a day but shoot your shot dude." I rolled my eyes.

"I can't shoot my shot unless I know there's nothing going on between us. China.. every girlfriend I've had they either break up with me because they're jealous of you or you chase them away." I really can't believe this dude is blaming his relationship problems on me.

"Okay so you woke me up to blame your relationship problems on me?" I snapped

"No I woke you up because I want to make sure that you feel nothing for me. That you won't get jealous of me dating someone else and then tell me you're in love with me.. Saffie thinks that you have feelings for me."

Saffie was right but I'm hesitant on telling him that because I'm afraid to ruin our friendship. I always knew he felt that way about me and I feel the same way but I can't lose him.

"Cam." I sighed. "Saffie's right but I don't want to be with you and I can't promise that I won't get jealous... please just wait.." I pleaded

"China. I can't wait for you to make up your mind anymore. We're both young and I want to explore relationships with people who want to be with me. If you can't handle that you need to leave or be happy for me." Cameron said calmly.

"SO YOU'RE CHOOSING SOME CHICK YOU HAVE KNOWN FOR TWO SECONDS OVER ME?" I yelled. I couldn't tell what I was upset the most over.. him wanting to choose someone else over me or him asking me to leave because I don't want to mess up our friendship.

Karan

"May I ask what's going on in there?" Maya whispered

"The usual argument. Cameron is trying to get a girlfriend and china is holding him back." I explained

"Want me to pull her hair out until she makes up her mind?" Maya joked. Maya didn't handle china really well when it came down to her and Cameron arguing.

"Let's not cause a bigger fight." I said nervously.

"SO YOU'RE CHOOSING SOME CHICK YOU HAVE KNOWN FOR TWO SECONDS OVER ME?" I heard China yell.

"China you need to calm down. It's your fault you don't want to be with me." Cameron calmly yelled back

"So, Kar.. are you going to break this fight up or should I?" Maya crossed her arms. All of the sudden we heard glass breaking. Maya and I eyed each other and then ran in the bedroom. China threw a glass picture of Her and Cameron at the wall... wish I could just abort this mission already.

"Stop acting crazy or get the fuck out chi." You could tell Cameron was heated and it was time to step in.

"Bubba, just walk away." Maya pushed him back.

"Walk away? This is my house! Just because she has a room here doesn't mean she has a right to do the crap she just did. China. Get. The. Hell. Out." Cameron repeated himself

"Fuck you." Is all china said and she grabbed her bags and headed out the door.. I wanted to make sure she was okay so I followed her

"China... China wait." I grabbed her arm only for her to put something in my hand.

"Tell him that I love him and I want him to be happy." She cried "I know this is just a fight right now but I don't want it.." she continued

"China.. I can't give this to him. This is the friendship necklace he gave you and me giving this back to him would give him the wrong idea." I told her

"Maybe the wrong idea is what he needs right now. Kar if you need anything I'm just five minutes down the road." She said. I felt helpless just watching her walk away.. Cameron and Chi have had their differences but this is the biggest fight that they've ever had.

"Kar, where did she go? I need to find her." Cameron asked.. and he was a sobbing mess.
