China

"China, please don't go.. " Cameron pulled me back from leaving.

"Cameron, what you said was uncalled for."

"It was a joke, Chi!"

-

After the trial Cameron had invited me over to his place. We wanted to be alone and figure things out about us or if we should just remain friends.

"So he's not here yet?" I asked Maya. Of course, Cameron is late as always.

"No, he went over to Saffie's but he should be back shortly." She smiled.

"He went to see Saffie?" I asked. I tried not to be jealous and maybe he's over there because she's telling him about Kar.

"Yeah, he's been going twice a week. They're still really close."

"That's Great." I said sadly, "I guess I'll be waiting up his room." I went to his room and when I was laying on his bed I realized that he still had a picture of him and Saffie on his nightstand. I was upset because he still doesn't know about Karan but he really loves her. I feel like I'm in a love triangle.

"Chi, are you okay?" Maya Interrupted my thoughts.

"Couldn't be better." I faked a smile at her.

"You're lying to me." She pointed out, "Cmon tell your favorite Boyce what's going on."

"It's just that... I called things off with Taj and he's still hung up over Saffie. I feel so stupid."

"He's not hung up over Saffie." She snickered.

"Then why is that picture still on his nightstand?" I pointed to the picture of Him and Saffie.

"Yeah.. I don't know what to say about that, but he does love you Chi. Always has."

"It's really hard to believe right now." I sighed.. "I think I might just go home."

"Chi, you've had a long day and your emotions are running through the roof, which is understandable but I hope you realize that he has history with both of you. That will never change." She slightly smiled at me before taking off. I went to my old room in their house to grab a few of my things before I walked out. This room feels different.. it doesn't feel like mine.

"Everything okay?" Cameron interrupted my thoughts, Causing me to jump.

"Yeah, Sorry. I was just about to leave." I smiled sadly.

"Leave? Why? I just got here."

"Yeah. That's the problem." I shot back. I could see that he was trying not to look confused.

"So? You couldn't wait for me. Come on, Girl." He tried to joke with me but I wasn't having it.

"Don't you Girl me when you're the problem in this situation." I rolled my eyes. At this point he figured out I was serious.
