China

8 months later, December 1st 2016

For the last eight months I've been in Atlanta. I've been going to therapy.. I've had a few acting gigs but only if I don't have to leave the State. I met a new guy, his name is Taj. Dove and Thomas are still together.. They've visited me the most out of everyone besides my family. Naj got an acting job and is across the country doing his thing. Brenna has came to see me a few times and she seems to be in a good place also. Cameron.. I don't have much on him besides that he split with Sarah and went back with Saffie. I hope he's happy and I guess I will find out soon because D2 press starts in February. I don't see myself talking to him at all before February.

"China." Dove snapped her fingers, "Come on! Pack. We leave in three hours."

"I don't know Dove.. maybe I'm not ready." I sighed. I started to take steps back.

"No, Chi. You're ready. Your therapist even said you were ready. You have two months before you have to face all your problems." She smiled. She was right.. I was nervous to be back fully in the spotlight.

"Okay, all I gotta do is pack a few more things." I sighed.

"You would have had this done last night but you were too busy at a party with Taj, Right?" She pointed out, "What's your plan?" She asked.

"Plan?"

"What's your plan when you get back to LA? What's your plan with your friendships? What's your plan on telling Cameron you're dating one of his best friends?" Dove questioned. She knew these were the questions I was avoiding.

"I don't care if Cameron knows. I can figure this stuff out one day at a time." I shrugged my shoulders. In reality, I'm nervous as hell. What if I start to feel emotionally drained once I get back to LA? What if things go wrong with D2 press tour in February.

"So you don't care at all? Do you plan to talk to Cameron at all?" She sighed. Dove has been pushing and pushing me on trying to Rekindle things with Cameron once I got back home but honestly, it's not on my mind that much. I'm happy. He's happy.

"If we cross paths before February then we cross paths." I smiled.

"You're ruining the dreams of thousands." She rolled her eyes. Cameron and Dove didn't become close until filming for D2. Im glad that their friendship is still strong even if Cameron and I aren't on speaking terms. We support each other but from a distance and I hope it continues to be that way

I packed the rest of my suitcases while Dove paced around the whole house. We have to be an hour early for everything or it's considered late to her. If she wasn't my girl, I would complain 24/7.

"China, Are you ready?" She peeped her head in the room. I looked around knowing I won't be back for another 6 months because my schedule is booked and busy. Who knows, maybe I won't need to come back unless it's for family purposes.

"Yeah." I smiled, "I'm ready." I started to leave and stopped at my door. I looked back and I knew I was going to miss it but Dove was right. I'm ready. I'm happy. I'm back. I'm better.

"CHINA!" Lauryn squealed as I walked through the door. "Longest 3 months ever." She squeezed me into a hug. "I'm glad you're back." Lou was the only one home besides Gabe and I knew not to mess with him at the moment.

"Me too, Lou." I whispered. I'm not going to lie being away from my siblings has been the hardest thing when it comes to staying in Atlanta by myself. Everyone is starting to get booked and busy so it was harder for them to come visit me.

"Did I hear that China Anne Mcclain was in the building?" Maya walked around the corner with a big smile on her face. Gabe and her are still together. Shocker right? I was still so excited to see her.

"Maya!" I ran to her and hugged her. "I've missed you so much as well." I whispered.

"Does Cam know you're home?" She asked.

"Uh..." I wanted to say something but I didn't know what to do or what to say.

"It's okay. You just answered my question." She giggled. "I miss us all together though." She continued sadly.

"Soon." I smiled. "I promise."

"Okay. I'll take your word for it, but I'm going home for a nap. I'll tell Mom and Dad you said hi." She smiled and walked out the door. Once she left I thought of Karan and how much I missed him. I pulled out my phone to call him. He let it ring twice before he picked up.

"Chi?"

"Kar! I'm home." I cheered.

"Home? As in LA home?" He asked.

"Yes! Want to hang out soon?"

"Yeah! Sure! Is Taj going to be there also?" If anyone were to know about Taj it would be Karan. Future FBI Agent.

"Kar, how do you know about Taj?" I chuckled.

"Taj has a big mouth. He told me when he told Cameron."

"I wasn't aware we were telling people." I whined, "but no, Taj isn't with me."

"Mhmmmm well I'm working but I'll be over there in a bit." He paused, "I gotta go back to work. See you later, Love you Chi." He hung up and I was very excited to see him again.

"LOU! WANNA GO GET COFFEE?" I yelled. She came running down the stairs with a big smile on her face.

"When do I ever turn down coffee." She giggled. She held my hand and we walked out to the car together.

"Maybe we should have told Gabe we were leaving." I chuckled.

"Nah. It's a sister date."
