10/ Group hug

Cameron

"Brenna?" Saffie questioned

"I need to speak to Cameron." Brenna said quietly but loud enough to where I could hear her. Karan and I looked at each other and he rolled his eyes which caused me to laugh. I went to the door to greet Brenna.

"Hey, Come in." I slightly smiled. I felt awkward being near her because of how rude I was to her last night.

"Umm.." Saffie started.. "I have to go to work." Saffie kissed my cheek and walked out.

"I went to Doves." She blurted out "I brought china with me even though she had no clue what was going on." She continued.

"Well, do you think that was really fair to her?" I asked.

"I know it wasn't fair but I wasn't thinking in that moment." She sighed.

"How did she take it?" I asked

"Ryan got to her before I did, but she said that she was keeping one of us in her life but she hasn't decided yet." She paused. "Cam, I can't lose her.. I know I fucked up but I just can't." She cried and I couldn't help but bring her into a hug.

"I'm sorry for how tough I was on you last night." I whispered.

"GROUP HUG HOES." Karan chimed in which caused us all to laugh.

China

Dear Cameron,
I can't bring myself to apologize to you in person because I know it will leave me in a puddle of tears. I'm so sorry for how I acted towards you

"China?" I turned around to see Brenna standing at my door. I quickly put away my pen and paper.

"Brenna, Hey." I smiled and went to give her a hug.

"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you. I really am, I'm sorry for all the fuck ups lately." She silently cried on my shoulder.

"Bren, what you did was wrong but you will always have me and even if it's not today Dove will forgive you.. I promise." I reassured her. "Now just go in Sierra's room and sleep." Right after she left the room I went to finish my letter to Cameron.

Once I picked up the pen the doorbell went off.

"YOU'VE GOT TO BE FRICKING KIDDING ME." I yelled. I headed downstairs and I was annoyed because I'm trying to write an apology letter here.

I opened the door to a puffy eyed Dove.

"Brenna's Mom said that Bren would be here." She explained.

"She's upstairs! You don't plan on killing her do you?" I had to ask because I don't want a murder happening in my house.

"No I don't plan on killing her." She giggled quietly. Her giggles always sound evil but I'm taking her word on this one.

"Well, that's a relief." I smiled.

"Can you come with me? I want it to be a group discussion." She lightly smiled.

"Of course." I took her hand and we went upstairs. Gabe came out of his room to be nosey

"China who's he-" he looked at dove "oh hey lil mama how's it going?" He winked.

"I'm telling Maya." I blurted out.

"No. Don't do that. She doesn't even know I like her." He ran away like a frightened little girl.

I walked into Sierra's room and Brenna was watching A walk to remember. She smiled when she saw me but became wide eyed when she saw dove.

"Dove?" She gasped and started scooting back. See, her first thought was murder also.

"Brenna." Dove paused. "You're my best friend and although I am extremely hurt and I won't be able to fully trust you for a while, I would rather have you in my life. I love you. So so much." Dove cried.

"I love you too and I'm so sorry." Brenna started crying also and I wanted to cry also because this was a sweet sweet moment.

"Ah yes, a group of tearful ladies." We all turned around and it was Karan eating my cookie dough Ice Cream.

"Kar? What are you doing here?" Dove asked.

"I think the better question is.. why does China leave her door unlocked 24/7" He looked at me. "I could have killed you all." He joked.

"I'll be right back." I giggled. Kar and I went into my room. I forgot I had texted him earlier.

"So what's up?" He asked

"I don't have the letter ready.. I kept getting interrupted." I sighed.

"Like an apology letter? Chi, why can't you do that in person?" He asked.

"Personal stuff that I can't say to him without crying and I'll have the picture to go with it also." I replied.

"Okay, well I'll be back tomorrow to pick it up. Have fun with the two knuckleheads in the other room. I love you." Kar said walking out.

"I love you too! I yelled back. Dove and Brenna are in the other room having a heart to heart so I decided it would be the best time to finish the letter. I got a new picture frame for the one I broke a while back and I was going to give it to him with the letter.

When I finished the letter, I decided that I didn't want to wait for Karan tomorrow and I wanted to go over there right now. I took my purse, the letter and our picture and went to check on Dove and Brenna.

"Hey guys I'm--" they were both sound asleep. I hope Sierra likes the couch.

It was past my curfew {10 in the evening} so I had to sneak out. The only struggle will be trying not to run into my dad on the way out or back in the house because he works late.

I headed out the door and I went to Cameron's apartment which was across the street. I went to my bedroom window that I have there because I remembered that I didn't lock it. I lifted up the window and crawled my way in. It was dead silent in here. Cameron's room was right across the hall. I peaked outside the door to make sure no one was coming. Cams bedroom door was wide open which meant that he wasn't home.

I tiptoed my way into his bedroom and I put my letter and our picture on his night stand.

"China?"

I turned around instantly because his voice scared the crap out of me.

"Shit. Karan!" I tried not to yell.

"Karan, what's going on in--" Cameron looked at me and then frowned. "China, what are you doing in here? How did you get in here?" He asked

"I just came to um drop something off." I stuttered, "and I remembered that I left the window unlocked." I reminded him. "Anyways.. I was just leaving." I said quietly as I walked past him and Karan.

"Cameron?" I looked at him

"Yes?" He answered.

"It's on your nightstand." I replied before I walked away.

I went back out the window and closed it and went back to my apartment. No sign of my dad.
I walked in the door, hung up my purse and turned around.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Holy crap! Dad you scared me! Wait a minute..." I paused and then realized that I'm about to get grounded. "Oh, Hey dad." I gently smiled.
