Thackery's POV:

" Who got insomnia? " someone asked and he entered in the living room looking confused.

" Obviously, you. " Killian smirked at him.

" Me- what? Insomnia? How did I got insomnia? " Jaxon asked while pointing himself.

" Ask yourself. " I answered him and he just give me his blank face.

" Jaxon. Please sit. We will wait for all of your parents to arrive, in order to start the discussion. " Lolo said and sat beside our Grandmother- Celeste Helios.

Umupo naman si Jaxon sa tabi ni Phelan.

" Kamusta kayo lahat? Is everything in your pack are already taken care of? " Lola asked.

I shifted in my seat and decided to answer her.

" We're fine and yes, lola. The forces of Headquarters are also doing their best to keep our place, safe. "

" Really? That's good. Are you all ready for tomorrow? "

" Seems like we're ready. Psh,  it's just a birthday, lola. " Easton said and snickered.

Well, someone's grumpy.

" And we're getting used to it. Every year, celebrating our birthday with people who are suck ups or not so important in our lives. " Phelan continued.

These two have almost the same attitude and it's scary , they're like a hot and cold but both of them always agree to each other in some ways. Hahaha

Easton was kind of the hot headed type in our circle. Palaging mainitin ang ulo and he always voices his thoughts either you'll think it's rude or not, he doesn't care. While, Phelan was the cold one? I don't know but he also expresses and voices his thoughts if he thinks it's important but unlike Easton, he has what we called 'manners'.

Jeez hahaha.

" Well, you know that this commonly happens when it comes to your birthday, right? We are all complete in celebrating your birthday, the only thing is that there are visitors and guests. " sabi ni lola at ngumiti samin.

Just like what Phelan said, we are getting used to it. Simula noong naging Alpha kami in our 18th, we always have to celebrate this birthday with lots of people.

People who are from the Council, Clans and influencial families or those who have connections in these two. It's lame but yeah being in the top of heirarchy, it requires to.

" Yeah. " Theo muttered.

Lola smiled at all of us.

" So, I heard from your Grandfather that you'll have to meet your destined mates! I am so pleased and excited to meet these new Granddaughters of mine. Is it a coincidence? It happened at the same time? "

My forehead creased and we all look at each other. Magsasalita na sana si Messiah ng pigilan siya ni lolo.

" Ah lola- "

" Messiah, no. " Lolo shook his head.

Napalingon naman si lola kay lolo.

" What is that, Marcial? " lola strictly asked.

Lolo sighed and just said, " Celeste, it's nothing. We'll talk about that pag nandito na ang mga anak natin. "

It's clearly evident that Lola is confused on why lolo is avoiding the topic but she just nods like she silently understand what's going on.
