Ichyrose's POV:

I ended up walking through the hallways towards the massive double wooden doors, following the Helios Family.

Nasa harap ang former great alpha kasama ang luna nito pati ang mga anak nila. Habang ako naman ay tahimik na nakasunod sa kanila.

Nag-isip ako ng ibang reasons kung bakit gusto nila akong kausapin in private. And just thinking about it, makes me nervous. I can't think clearly and worst my palms are getting sweaty.

Something's not right.

Nang lumabas kami kanina mula sa kitchen ay dumiretso kami sa second floor ng Reception Hall where the meeting room was in, umuwi na din ang ibang mga bisita at inaayos na ang mga kailangan ayusin sa baba.

Mula ng lumabas kami, they're not saying anything so, it's really quiet and right now I can literally feel the tension between us. The problem is, I don't know what kind of tension is it, a surprise tension? maybe it's just me.

Yeah, it's only me. My mind is kinda on stress right now.

My curiosity and anxiety is mixing. Curiosity of what is this about and anxiety of knowing that something is going to happen. Instinct.

Bumukas ang malalaking pinto at bumungad sakin ang malaking room kung saan may long wooden table with chairs in the middle of the room. A cliche meeting room, just a vase displayed in a small table and no other furnitures. I can see that this room is not usually used.

I glanced at them and I saw them taking a seat. I stayed on my feet, awkwardly standing while looking at them. Umupo ang former great alpha sa unahan kasama ang luna nito habang ang mga anak nila pati ang asawa nito ay umupo sa right side.

Lumingon si former luna Celeste sa akin at ngumiti. " Please take a seat on the other end. "

I nodded at her and walks toward the lone chair. Umupo ako at tumingin sa kanila. Nasa harap ko na ngayon ang mag-asawa at nasa left side ko ang mga former alphas at lunas.

I noticed that the seats on my right side were vacant. I came to a conclusion that these seats were supposedly taken by the missing alphas.

So why did they want me to sit here infront of them if there are plenty of vacant chairs. This is like a freaking interrogation. Have I done something wrong?

I became anxious because of my thoughts. I rewind the scenes earlier, searching for a cause. I stopped and nearly gasped at the sudden idea.

Oh shit. Is it because of that eight freaking men?

I realized that I was supposed to deal with them after the incident because I need to do my job, first. I also didn't notice them earlier, akala ko ba nakasunod sila sakin kanina?

I dismissed the thoughts about the mysterious men at binalik ang atensyon sa harap. We're awkwardly silent, and it's slowly eating me.
