We found Annabeth and Grover in about five minutes. It would have been three but Grover was too under the spell.
"ENCHALADA BUFFET!" I scream and Grover's head shot up.
"Where?!" I took the opportunity grab his arm and drag him out of the casino.
"Stop! Amanda stop it! Wait, Amanda?"
"Shut up. Come on. What day was it when you went in there?" I ask while looking for Percy and Annabeth.
"5 days ago..." Grover trails looking at a newspaper.
"No wonder they sent me. Come on!" I drag Grover to my brother and my best friend.
"Amanda? How are you here?" Annabeth asks as we walk up.
"Just be happy I'm here. Can I talk to you alone?" I ask. I drag her away from the boys and told her everything that happened today, except the daddy/daughter moment.
"Wow. You have to go back there?"
"Yeah. And then I plan how to tell Percy."
"I bet the Gods have that planned out." I nod my head in agreement. We walk back over to the boys.
"You have one day to get to the entrance to the Underworld. Be careful and go save ou-your mother." I smile. Annabeth shoots me a warning glance but quickly covers it.
"Your not coming?"
"No. I have to go back. Be safe." I say and I walk away.
How to get back? I wish I could teleport like a god or like hellhounds. Wait, hellhounds! They are Hades' animal. Maybe if I run into a shadow...
I find an alleyway and a dark shadow casts on a wall. I take a deep breath and imagine the Olympic Council room. I start to run to the wall, keeping Olympus in mind.
Right when I should have broken my nose due to impact of the wall, I was surrounded by darkness. A cold feeling to over me and I close my eyes. After about five seconds, it was over. I opened my eyes and I gasped.
I was outside the council room. It worked! Slowly, I walk inside the room, yet again.
Instead of all the council being there, only Zues and my father were on their thrones bickering as usual.
"LADIES, Ladies! Your both beautiful. I sent my brother back on his quest and returned here as fast as I could."
"I'm impressed. How did you get here so fast?" Zues asked actually looking interested.
"A gift." I shrugged.
"I understand you are using them well. You will stay here until your brother brings me my Master Bolt."
"H-here?!" I gasp.
"Yes, is that all right?"
"Yeah, that's cool. I need to plan what to tell Percy anyways." I lie. I'm not cool with staying at Olympus.
"Great I will get Ash to show you where you will be staying."
--page break--
"Here you are. Make your self comfortable." Ash squeaks. We arrived at a small cottage. Very quaint.
Ash was a tree nymph. She is very sweet and kind. My father told me to watch her because she is very delicate.
"Thank you." I smile.
"It's not a problem my lady." She bows.
"You don't have to treat me like a goddess, you know?"
"But you- never mind. I won't do it again." And she left.
