"Bianca!" I call walking through the door of our room. On her bed there was a little boy, probably around ten, playing with cards. He had the same black hair and olive skin, so I assumed this was her brother.

"Oh, Amanda, hey!" Bianca said coming out of our closet. "This is Nico, my little brother." She pointed to the boy on her bed. My deduction skills were correct.

"Hey." I smiled at him. He stares up at me, completely silent.

"So, uh, whatcha playing?" I ask him.

"WAIT, DON'T SAY-" Bianca starts.

"MythoMagic." He says flatly and shoves the cards he was holding in my face.

I took one of his cards and studied it. On it, there was a picture of Apollo, or what I thought to be him. Underneath was a bunch of stats like Pokémon.

"MythoMagic?" I ask. Nico shakes his head violently. Okay, then.

"Sorry, it's stupid." Bianca apologizes.

"No, no. It's fine. But, uh, Nico? Can I borrow this real quick?" I asked him.

"Give it back." He shrugged. I nodded and took off to Grover's room.

I pounded on his door. "Hello?" Grover asks. I march inside.

"What in the name of Hades gym shorts is this?" I ask Grover.

"What the-? Pan's Pipes!" He shouted.

"Yeah, I know. There the boy halfblood's. What do I do?"

"Get them to trust you. Play the game." Grover ordered.

"WHAT?! I'D RATHER FACE THE KINDLY ONES THAN THAT!!" I shouted.

"Shush." Grover whispered. I heard thunder roar. "You have to. I'm sorry!"

"Whatever."

--page break--

"Poseidon has way better stats then Artemis." I argue.

"No way."

"Your standing up for a goddess who hates men."

"How do you know that?"

"I uh- did my research on Greek Mythology." I stutter.

"Whatever." Nico growled.

"So, are there any lucky girls your going to ask to the dance next week?" I ask him. I hate MythoMagic with a burning passion now. But, I still have to play it. Great! (Note my sarcasm). But, hey. Nico and Bianca both fully trust me now, too.

"No." He says flatly.

"Good morning, children." Our Vice Principal greeted us as we walked the halls.

"Good morning, Dr. Thorn." We said simultaneously.

"He's creepy." Nico whispered. He's trying to kill you, of course he is. I thought. Grover told me about him a week ago, and I'm honestly scared to see when he'll strike.

"Amanda?" I heard him call.

I turn around. "Yes, Dr. Thorn?"

"Can you come with me to my office?" He asked. I nodded and turned back to Nico. Pure fear was in his eyes.

"I'll be fine. Go." I whisper to him, and he nods and runs off.

I follow Dr. Thorn through the maze of halls and into his office. "Please, sit." He offers and motions to the seat in front of his desk.

"I'll stand, sir. But thank you though." I tell him. He nods and sits down in his chair.

"Now Amanda. I wasn't attracted here by you. I have orders to leave you alone. Yet, you are here. Why? Certainly, if you were to come here for school you would go to your brother's new school and not this one."

Oh no. "I-I'm not sure what you are talking about, sir." I manage to speak.

"And then there's Grover." He says, ignoring my statement. "He seems to be very close to you."

"Sir. Grover is my-" think of something, Amanda! "boyfriend." I say before i can register what I said.

"Boyfriend?" He asks. I nod my head. Boyfriend? What the Hades? "When did he ask you?"

"A week after school started." I said quickly. Sometimes I really love my quick reactions.

"Hmm..."

"Sir? What were you talking about? Just then?" I asked.

"You know exactly what. You are dismissed, daughter of Posiedon." I gave him my best fake confused look and slowly walked out the door.

Oh no. Oh no, no, no. I quickly walked to my room. I started pacing.

This is not good. I'm here to get the Di Angelo's before it's too late. It's certainly cutting close to that time. I need to warn Grover. Now.
