"Yes Chiron?" I ask as he quickly ushered us into the office I was in so many years ago when I first arrived here.
"Yes. Percy... you have been accused of stealing Zeus' master bolt. Amanda you've been accused as his accomplice." Chiron says.
"WHAT?!" I scream. "WHY WOULD THEY THI- oh. Carry on." I feel my cheeks grow a dark shade of red like the Underworld's Pomegranates.
"Yes Amanda. Now, I believe neither of you two took it so you'll have to lead a quest. Together."
Amanda, don't go. You have a better role. That voice inside my head told me.
"Yeah. I can't." I reply.
"Is it because of your head pain? I won't go. Annabeth told me how much you two have been waiting to lead a quest." Percy offered.
"No. Percy, it's not you." I tapped my head to signal Chiron. He nodded.
"Percy. Your the one who was mainly accused. This is your quest." Chiron says.
"Fine. What do I have to do?" Percy asks suddenly bored.
"Amanda. Take him to the oracle." I nodded and lead Percy up the stairs.
"Is your head pain gone or what?" Percy asks.
"Why do you care? If you want to save your rep, stay away from me. I'm the freak of Camp Half-Blood." I snap. To be honest, I enjoy his company. He's just so oblivious to our relation to each other, it's getting hard to keep it a secret.
"Are you okay? Everyone is acting strange around me today."
"Yeah. I'm fine." I grab the rope and pull down the ladder. "Go up there and talk to her."
He nods and takes a shaky breath. I almost laugh at his scaredness. He climbs up the ladder and disappears inside.
After 10 minutes, he climbs down even shakier than before.
"Oh my god." He whispers and thunder booms in the distance. I grab the boy's arm and drag him to a corner.
"Gods Percy." I whisper yell. "There is more than one. If you say only one it looks like you don't worship any gods other than-"
"My father." Percy finishes in shock. "Oops. I'm sorry."
"It's okay. You just need to get used to it. Quickly." I lead him down the stairs and back to Chiron.
"Percy. What did she say?" Chiron asked.
"I don't totally understand it but it still sounds complicated.
You shall go West, and face the God who has turned.
You shall find what was stolen, and see it safely returned.
You shall discover a family secret, that must be revealed.
You shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend.
And you shall failed to save what matters most, in the end."
Chiron and I share a look. The third line. What do I have to do in this?
We must have stayed silent for a while because Percy soon interrupted very awkwardly, "Do you guys know something I don't?"
"Um... no. Who do you want to go with you? I'll go get them." I offer.
"Oh yes. You will be able to take two people." Chiron explains.
"I'm assuming you can't come," Percy guesses pointing at me. "so I'll take Annabeth and Grover."
"Go get them." Chiron orders. I nod and sprint off.
I found Annabeth by the climbing wall and Grover by the woods flirting with a tree nymph (shocker).
"So what exactly happened? What did you do?" Grover asks while I guide him and Annabeth to the Big House.
"Well, Percy and I have been accused for stealing Zeus' master bolt, my father told me I had to stay here, and now Percy has selected you two to come along. Any questions?" I ask.
"Nope." Annabeth says popping the 'p'.
"Come along then." I tutt and I pull them to Chiron.
--time lapse--
I lay in the Hermes Cabin for the last night ever. Well... If the Prophecy comes true like I think it will. Percy's leaving in the morning and I get to move to the Poseidon Cabin until he comes back.
"Amanda?" I hear Luke whisper.
"Yes?"
"Are you okay?"
"Yes. Why do you ask? Are you okay?"
"Honestly? No. Demigod dreams." Luke sighs.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I ask.
"No. I just hate persuasive people." Luke complains.
"Okay then. Don't listen to them. Block them out." I advise him.
"Thanks Amanda."
"No problem. Good night." I yawned and my eyes shut for the night.
