Clang. I pinned Luke again.
"Come on. This is too easy!" I complain.
"I'm trying!" Luke gasps. He's all sweaty and tired. My life has been the same: I'm still not claimed and I get an new power every six months or so. I'm due to a new power any day now so I have to watch my temper. I grab Luke's sword and toss it to him. He catches it. We were about to spar again when Connor and Travis Stoll run by with mischievous grins.
"They're planning something. Can I go?" I ask.
"You're the only one that can stop them. Go!" Luke sighs. I smile and run towards the twins. I've always wanted a twin. I thought to myself as I followed them to the woods
"Connor! Travis! Come on!" I yell now in the woods. I walk past Zeus' fist.
"Stolls!" I yell looking for them. Snap. Uh no! I'm shot into the sky. I scream. I start plummet down. I haven't found a way to stop myself from falling. I close my eyes waiting for impact. But it never came.
I open one eye. I'm hovering... in the middle of mid-air. Oh my Zeus. I slowly bring myself to the ground and the Stolls stare at me wide eyes.
"I have a new power. Thanks to you! REALLY?!" I scream at Connor and Travis. I grab their ears and pull them to the Big House. I'm trying so hard to control my powers from going haywire. Chiron comes out and looks amused at me pulling the Stolls' ears.
"They pranked me. And gave me a new power." I growl.
"What is the new power Amanda? Oh and while your here we need you to heal someone." Chiron asks.
"Zeus' flying power." I say quietly. I then realize I have a big three power. That's impossible. "Zeus' power! I have a big three power!" I release the Stolls.
"Amanda, relax." Chiron tries to calm me. "We were expecting this."
"I know but ZEUS?!" I ask.
"Come. Help heal a new camper. He arrived three days ago and he's still passed out." Chiron ordered. He trots to the infirmary with me close behind. He guides me to a guy around 12, my age, laying on a bed. Annabeth is watching him.
"Good. You found her." Annabeth says looking towards us.
"I would've come sooner but the Stolls pranked me and I have a new power." I grumble.
"Whose now?!" Annabeth asks.
"Zeus'" I say and I look closer at the boy. He looked like... Me?! He was a male version of me with the brown hair and the same face shape. I couldn't see his eyes but I guessed they were close to mine. I felt a pain in my head.
"Chiron. He's from my past." I groan. Chiron's eyes grew big.
"Just heal him and get him out of your sight." Chiron says quickly. I did as told and ran back to the Big House, only pausing to see the color of the boys eyes. Seaweed green. Chiron followed me outside.
"I've been meaning to tell you. I think my father is a god." I say when he catches up.
"How do you know?"
"When I talk about my parents, I usually say father when I mean my godly side. Probably because there is a crack in the block. Which god? That I don't know but it has something to do with that camper." I explain.
"His name is Percy Jackson." A sharp pain in my head appears when Chiron said his name. It disappeared a second later.
"Ow!" I yell. "Yeah, he's from my past Chiron." I say.
