I began this story mid-2016, in response to a desire to write a Mads fanfic.
And now in 2019, I'm reposting because I couldn't stand how bad my writing was when I began this story. Lots of things changed, for those who have read it before, but lots of elements I have kept 'cause I was so attached to them. The story is basically the same, which also means the same time and age errors that I couldn't fix - but nothing you can't ignore.
One thing I want you to consider with patience is the fact that I've never been to the places I'm writing about, neither I have too much knowledge of those who live there - some of it I made a research, but unfortunately not even Google can give us all the answers - and some other stuff I just straight out changed to fit the plot of my story.
(Please, please, if any typo or incongruity spotted, let me know.)
"I didn't want to kiss you goodbye — that was the trouble — I wanted to kiss you goodnight — and there's a lot of difference."
Ernest Hemingway
