Chapter 2: Kelly? Trey?

"Tremaine, let's go!" Beyoncé yelled into Trey's apartment.

"I'm coming, damn!" Trey yelled back.

Trey began walking out of his room carrying his bags.

"It's just you, and me, in a car till we get to Vegas" Beyoncé said smiling.

"Yayyyyy" Trey yelled sarcastically. Getting a raised eyebrow from Beyoncé.

They made their way to Vegas in a car full of gas, magazines, and snacks. After awhile Trey fell asleep the next thing he knew he saw the flashing lights of the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. Trey loved this place; he didn't understand why he didn't think of this before Bey did.

"This is just what I need." Trey thought.

He looked over at Beyoncé driving.

"Bey, thanks for thinking of this.  I really needed it."

"Oh, don't thank me yet. You driving back." Beyoncé said firmly.

"I got you." Trey said laughing.

As they pulled up to The Caesar's Palace they got out the car, grabbed their bags and handed the keys to the valet.

As they entered the lobby of the hotel, they marveled at its beauty.

"I love staying at here, I feel so at home." Trey said excited.

"You moved to Italy and didn't tell me?" Beyoncé asked and Trey just looked at her. "Well let's check in."

As they made their way over to the counter to check in Beyoncé could have sworn she saw someone familiar.

"Trey, have you ever seen that girl before?"

"What girl?" Trey said whipping his head looking around very obviously.

"Yeah, thanks for captain obvious." Beyoncé said sarcastically. "The girl checking in to our left."

Trey looked to where she was nodding and noticed the girl.

"Yeah, didn't we go to high school with her?" He asked.

"I'm not so sure, that's why I asked you." Beyoncé said.

"Hold on." Trey said walking over towards the young woman.

"Kelly?" Trey said not too sure.

The young woman looked up from the counter.

"Ok, so I'll be gone for a couple of days. Make sure you get my mail and feed my fish" Kelly said to her cousin Emani.

"Look Kell, I got you. Nothing wrong happened the last you gave me your key." Emani said firmly.

"Oh yeah, killing one of my fish isn't a problem at all." Kelly said sarcastically.

"Okay, Marlon didn't make it but you still got Nemo and Dory. They'll be fine and I won't go through your mail, now you're all set to go." Emani replied.

"You went through my mail?"

Before Kelly could step closer to Emani, Shawn walked through the door.

"Ready to go?"  He asked.

"Thanks Shawn, you're a life saver." Emani said walking towards him.

"Yeah, let me get my bag" Kelly said giving Emani the death glare. "Emani, remember what I said. If you got school problems again don't call me, call ya mama"

Emani rolled her eyes.

"And don't kill my fish!" Kelly yelled leaving out the door.

When Kelly and Shawn arrived at the airport they checked their bags, went through security, and went to their gate.

"We just made it with a half an hour to spare." Kelly said.

"I should've known it was going to be busy going through security, but that was the longest I've ever been through there." Shawn said putting his shoes back on.

"Well at least now we're done with that." Kelly said.

As they boarded the plane, it wasn't as packed as they thought it would be and thank god, no crying babies. As soon as they took their seats and buckled up, it was time to take off. As they reached there flying altitude Kelly turned to Shawn.

"Thanks for thinking of Vegas, I really needed this" she said.

"No problem, I needed this too. Those artist can be a handful. God knows I love them cause without them I don't get paid, but sometimes..."Shawn said laughing

"Yeah, I know what you mean. Having family work with you ain't always the best either. Emani works my nerves more than any other student, but I'd die for her ya know?" Kelly said.

"Yeah she can be annoying." Shawn added laughing. "But I've known her since she was like five, so I'd die for her."

As time went by they spoke about any and everything until they fell asleep. As they woke up and the plane landed they headed to the baggage claim to get there luggage.

"Hey, where are we staying at anyway?" Shawn asked Kelly.

"Oh yeah, Cesar's, got to love that place" Kelly answered smiling.

As they got their luggage they went to get a cab. They told the cab driver where to go and they were on their way.

As the cab driver handed them their bags and they paid him and he was on his way.

They marveled at the beauty of the lobby.

"I love coming here." Kelly said.

"Okay, how about you go check us in and I'm heading towards the bathroom" Shawn said.

Kelly nodded and headed towards the check in counter.

"Hello and Welcome to Cesar's Palace." said the woman behind the counter.

"Hi, my name is Kelly Rowland and I have a reservation for a deluxe suite." Kelly said. "That's the room with two rooms in one room right?" 

"Yes ma'am, now if you just sign right here and hand me your card, you'll be able to get straight to your room." The receptionist said and Kelly nodded.

As Kelly was signing papers she could have sworn she heard someone calling her.

"Kelly?" she heard as she  looked up and saw a young man approaching her.

"Trey?"
