A Couple of Weeks Later

Beyonce and Shawn were walking in the mall enjoying their time off together. Going to different stores, stealing kisses and enjoying the food court. When they finished eating they decided to visit a few more stores before heading out. When all of a sudden Beyonce felt sick. He stopped walking when he noticed she stopped walking.

"Hey, you ok?" Shawn asked looking down at her.

"No, I don't feel too good." Beyonce said looking a little pale.

"You wanna go home?" he asked

"Yeah" she said nodding her head.

As they walked back to the car from the mall Beyonce was trying to figure out what was going on with her body. This had never happened before. It came out of nowhere and all she wanted to do was lay down. Shawn on the other hand also wanted to know what was going on with his wife. Yes, they decided to stay married. They thought it would be best. They were already falling for each other harder and harder every day and really loved each other.

Once they arrived back to the apartment he told her to go and lay down and he'd check on her in a few. While she went to lie down he went to do some research. He wanted to know about stomach aches and pregnancy and what were the dangers. As he researched he stumbled upon so many different things. Some said that if it feels like cramps and you’re spotting to see your doctor. Others said it's common to spot during pregnancy, as long as it's not bright red. The next thing shocked him to the core. He found out that sometimes spotting a lot can be a warning to a miscarriage. As he read that he proceeded to the back to wake her up.

"Bey, Bey baby you gotta wake up." Shawn said gently shaking her awake.

"Huh, what?" she mumbled into her pillow.

"Babe, does your stomach still hurt?" he asked not trying to alarm her.

"Not as much." She said blinking a few times to wake up.

"How did it feel? Did it feel a cramp or anything like that?" he asked

"A little, but not that much. Why?" she asked becoming suspicious.

"Ok, I'm gonna need you to go in the bathroom and check to see if your spotting." he said trying to stay calm.

"Why? Is something wrong?" she asked.

"Just something I researched. I don't wanna scare you, but if you’re spotting I want to go to the doctors to make sure everything is ok." he said honestly

"Ok." she said nervously as she walked in the bathroom to check and see if she was spotting. As she checked she felt tears roll cheek as saw a bright red spot. She hoped this didn't harm the baby.

Shawn was sitting on the bed with his cellphone in his hands as waited for Beyonce to come out. He hoped she wasn't spotting and he hoped to god this had nothing to do with a miscarriage. He was lost in thought when he noticed her coming out of the bathroom. He thought his heart had stopped when he saw her checks stained with tears. She didn't even have to say anything, he already knew. He wrapped his arms around her and told her to lie down while he called the doctor. When he left out the room to call the doctor it really sunk in that something might be wrong with the baby and he silently sob for a few minutes before he called the doctor.

After Shawn got himself together he called their new doctor.

"Hello, may I speak to Dr.Taylor?" he asked

"Yes, one moment." The receptionist responded

"Hello, Dr.Taylor speaking."

"Hi, my name is Shawn Carter and my wife Beyonce Carter is cramping a little and spotting and we don't know what to do." he said
