Who's That Boy?

Today Emani was hanging out with Shawn at the studio. She was starting to get bored, Shawn was doing something with the boards and Emani was getting testy.

“Shawn, I’m bored” Emani said swirling in a chair

“This is why I told you not to come. You were gonna get bored and start whinning” Shawn

"What? I’m not whinning” Emani said as Shawn looked at her.

“Why don’t you go exploring around the studio.” Shawn said. “Don’t break or touch anything.

“Fine” Emani said standing up to leave

“I’m serious E” Shawn said.

“O.K” Emani said annoyed.

While Trey was in the studio his brother, CJ, excused himself to use the bathroom. When coming back from the bathroom he noticed that Shawn was in the studio and he thought he'd say hey. When he went to door, through the window he saw he was talking to someone and didn't want to interrupt. He however noticed the girl he was talking to looked around his age, she was light brown and had a pretty face. He wondered who she was he had to ask Trey if he knew. Making his way back to the studio he saw Trey was coming out the booth.

"I thought you said you were going to the bathroom." he asked

"I did, but I got distracted." CJ replied

"By what?" he asked

"By a girl. I was going to say hey to Shawn, but he was talking to this cute girl. Hey do you know her? She's light brown, she had a pony tail at the time." CJ said

"Sounds like Kelly’s cousin. She must be with Shawn today." Trey said

"Your girlfriend's cousin looks like that and you said nothing?" CJ exclaimed

"Well her cousin does not need a boyfriend right now. Kelly has her on a short string right now." Trey said

"What coincidence, I'm on a short string. We could be on that string together." CJ said smiling

"Look if anything happens with her and a boy it won't be with my brother. Now let's go." Trey said firmly

Emani noticed Trey leaving as she was traveling around the studio. She also noticed a boy around her age with him. She went back to the studio with Shawn.

"Hey, Shawn who was that with Trey?" Emani asked

"Oh, that's CJ, his brother." Shawn responded

"I didn't know he had a brother.” Emani said.

"Kelly, Kelly, Kelly!" Emani yelled through the apartment looking for Kelly.

"E, E, E!" Kelly said mimicking her.

Kelly was in her room sitting on her bed putting on her shoes when she looked up from tying her shoes to see Emani rush through door like something was on fire.

"What?" Kelly asked

"How come you didn't tell me Cornell had a brother?" Emani asked

"Uh, because you never asked." Kelly responded

"I saw him today." Emani said smiling

"I'm sure" Kelly responded. "So how was hanging with Shawn?"

“Well at first it was boring and then Beyonce came in and recorded a song called “Baby Boy”. The way her and Shawn were staring at each other when she was recording I really wanted to leave. Good thing the engineer came in. They seem like their some type of freaks or something.” Emani said leaving.

Kelly began to lounge around in her room to watch TV.

"I wonder what Trey is doing?" Kelly thought as picked up her cell phone to call him.

Trey was driving his brother back home when his cellphone rung. He told his brother to hand him his phone. CJ thought it would better to answer it himself.

"Hello, Tremanine's phone" CJ answered. Trey just shook his head.

"Hey CJ, where's Trey?" Kelly asked

"Oh, he's a little tied up at the up at the moment." CJ said laughing "But anyway, I saw your cousin today."

"Oh really." Kelly said laughing as she could hear Trey and CJ arguing on the other end of the phone.

"Give me my phone." Trey said

"I'm talking, keep your eyes on the road." CJ said

"Give me my phone or I'm snitching to mom." Trey said

"About what, you have no dirt on me." CJ said

"You wanna bet." Trey said raising his eyebrow.

After taking a minuet to think CJ decided to give Trey his phone.

"Well in that case, bye Kelly here's Trey." CJ said

Trey snatched away his phone from his brother.

"Hey, Kell" he said

"Hey, what are y'all doing?" Kelly asked.

"Nothing, I'm driving him home and then I'll come by and chill with you." he said smiling

"Oh, that'll work I have no classes today." Kelly said "You wanna go to the mall with me later?"

"Yeah sure, I'll be there in like a half an hour." he said

"Ok, I'll see you then. Snitch" Kelly said and hung up the phone.

"Did she just call me a snitch?" Trey out loud but more of to himself

"Well you are a snitch." CJ said

"Shut Up!." he said as he redialed Kelly’s number.

"What's up." Kelly answered

"Did you just call me a snitch?" he asked

"What? No." Kelly responded amused

"Uh huh, ok. I got you." he said and hung up the phone.

Trey pulled up in the drive way and told his brother to get out and that he would talk to him later. After that he made his way over to Kelly’s place. When he got there he took the elevator up and when he got to her door and knocked and Kelly answered the door.

"Hey" Kelly said.

"Hey" he said hugging her and giving her a kiss on the lips.

"So you wanna go to the mall now because I'm kind of hungry." she said walking into the living room.

"Yeah, we could do that." he said

"Alright, let me tell E I'm leaving." she said

As Kelly and Trey cruised the mall it was nice. They felt like teenagers walking in the mall. The first stop of course was the food court, then they went to some clothes stores. Trey seemed a little bored walking around forever 21 looking lost.

"Kelly you almost done?" he asked

"You know patience is a virtue." she said looking at some shirts.

"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah." he said rolling his eyes.

"You better be lucky I'm done or I would be offended by that eye roll." she said as she made her way to the register.

She paid for her items and knew the next spot had to be a champs, or footlocker, or something before he had a fit.

"Ok, I got the clothes out of the way now we can look for shoes." she said smiling

"Finally, the new retro's came out." he said grabbing her and heading toward Footaction.

They walked into Footaction and the shoes where right there. They were white/blue/red Jordan’s. Trey asked for one of the guys to get his shoe size and Kelly did as well. They browsed at other shoes as they waited for theirs.

"Are Jordan’s all you wear?" Kelly asked

"They are my favorite, but no.'' he said laughing

"It's just weird, all I've seen you in are Jordan’s." she said

Before he could say anything the guy working there came back with their shoes. They tried them on, they fit well, they told the guy they were getting them and he took them to the front. They stood in line until they were at the register.

"Ok, you have to two pair of Jordan’s?" The guy behind the register asked.

"I don't know, do you?." Kelly said looking at Trey.

"That is a good question, but snitches don't have enough money to pay for two pair of Jordan’s." he replied

"Are you serious?" she said laughing.

"What? You said I was a snitch." he said laughing

"Ok, you pay for yours and I'll pay for mine." she said smiling.

"So that would be one pair of Jordan’s." The guy behind the counter said.

"Yep." Trey responded and handed him his card.

Then Kelly paid for her shoes and they walked out the store. They went to a few more stores before heading back to her place. As they were making their way to the front door Kelly turned towards Trey.

"Today was fun." she said searching for her keys

"Yeah it was, we should do it again." he said

"Yeah we should." she replied giving him a kiss before he deepened it she backed up. "Well goodnight."

"Wait, I can't come in." he said with a confused look

"Nope, ya see I don't allow snitches in so I guess I'll see ya later. Night night." she said going into her apartment.

Trey sat there dumbstruck. "Oh Kelly you will pay." he thought walking away. "You will pay."
