Trey was in his car pulling out his cellphone to call Beyonce, she finally picked up.

"Hello" Beyonce answered.

"Yo, you will not believe what just happened!" Trey said

"What happened?" Beyonce asked

"Ok, I took Kelly out to the movies. When we got back we decided to watch some TV at her place. So we were watching TV and all of a sudden somebody knocked at the door. She went to go answer it and cleaning lady was at the door"

"What does a cleaning lady have to do with anything?" Beyonce asked

"Oh yeah, Kelly had Emani clean to keep her busy. Anyway come to find out Emani didn't clean a damn thing she paid someone to do it" he said laughing

"Oh nah, you lying" Beyonce said laughing.

"Nope, before anything went down I told her I'd see her tomorrow." he said.

"What? Why?" Beyonce asked

"I didn't want to be a witness to anything. The way Kelly was looking, she looked like she wanted to throw Emani out the window." he said

"Damn and I missed it." Beyonce said "If she's as mad as you say I'm gonna call Shawn to check on them."

"Ok, I gotta be there tomorrow, so I guess I'll talk to you later" he said

"Ok, bye" Beyonce said.

"Bye" Cornell said as he hung up the phone and drove home.

Shawn was driving home still happy as ever. He looked at his phone and sees a text message and it read.

"Check on Kelly, Emani did something and Kelly’s pissed"

"Oh god" Shawn thought. He made a U-turn for Kelly’s house. He parked and went up to Kelly’s place. He let himself in with his key. To his surprise it was very quiet. "Oh god, Kelly killed her" Shawn thought.

"Kelly!" Shawn yelled "Kelly!"

"Why are you yelling?" Kelly asked coming from the back

"Because it's quiet. Is everything ok?" Shawn asked

"Yeah, why? Did Trey text you?" Kelly asked

"No, Bey. She said you were pissed about something." Shawn said with a confused look

"I was, but I calmed down." Kelly said

"Well, what happened?" Shawn asked

"I told Emani to clean while I went out. I came back, place looked great. I thought she did a pretty good job until the lady she paid to do the job said she was short." Kelly said

"So she paid someone to clean?" Shawn said shocked

"Yep, and she almost had me. I was kind of stunned but brought back to reality when Trey said he'd see me tomorrow and he left." Kelly said

"Where is she?” Shawn asked.

"I told her to go back to the room and I’ll handle it later" Kelly said defeated. "I don't know what else to do."

Shawn looked at the look on his best friends face and decided it was now time to find out what was going on in Emani’s head. Shawn walked down the hallway and into to the guest bedroom to have a conversation with Emani.

 “Hey! Don’t you knock?” Emani said.

“Why should I respect you, you don’t respect this house.” Shawn said standing in front of her.

“Whatever, if you’re going to yell at me can we do this another time. I’m tired.” Emani said.

“I don’t give a damn if you’re tired, you’re not the one that had to reroute his trip home because I had to handle you.” Shawn said

“You don’t have to handle me” Emani said standing up in front of Shawn arms crossed.

“Sit your ass down you ain’t gonna do nothing.” Shawn said unfazed.

“Now you listen and you listen good. Kelly is letting you stay here and you will show her and I some respect. You got that. You already got one strike, three strikes and you’re out. I don’t know what’s been going through your head these past couple of weeks, but you better get together. You feel what saying.” Shawn said.

“Yes” Emani rolling her eyes.

“Keep doing that and I’m gonna make your eyes that way for real” Shawn said as he left the room.

“How was the talk?” Kelly said sitting on the couch watching TV.

“Oh, she’ll be fine. I told her she got one out of three strikes.” Shawn said

"Ok" Kelly said.

"Wait how did your date go?" Shawn asked

"It was good, real good" Kelly said "How was yours?"

"Real, Real good" Shawn said smiling

"Aight, then. I would go into detail but....yeah. I'm kind of tired."  Kelly said laughing

"Aight, I'll call you tomorrow." Shawn said as he gave Kelly a hug.

"Ok, goodnight Shawn." Kelly said as she closed the door and turned to lights out. She went to her room and as soon as she hit the pillow she was out like a light.

Kelly woke early the next morning and decided to make breakfast after she got out of the shower. She walked into the kitchen and decided to turn on the radio. As Michael Jackson sung through the radio Kelly decided to dance while she cooked breakfast. Kelly not knowing anyone was watching here had almost jumped out of her skin when she saw Emani standing there.

"Jesus, why didn't you say anything. You scared me." Kelly said walking over to the radio to turn it down.

"Well you looked happy. Didn't want to ruin your mood" Emani said sitting on a bar stool.

"You hungry?" Kelly asked

"Yes" Emani answered

"Good, because we need to talk." Kelly said making Emani a plate. As Emani was eating Kelly started to talk.

"So, what's up with you?" Kelly asked

"What do you mean?" Emani asked

"Well you haven't really been yourself lately. Parties, lying, being disrespectful. It's not you at all." Kelly said

"To be honest. I don't even know. The party wasn't even supposed to happen. I didn't plan that and to be honest I don't remember much except for when you got there." Emani said looking down at her food. "I do understand I’ve been difficult and I don't really know why. But come on you wanted me to clean and you wouldn't let me dance. I guess you could call it rebelling, I don't know. I'm sorry for everything I've done and I promise you I will never do anything like this again. Just give me one more chance. Please."

"Well I don't know. It's gonna be hard for you to stay here if I can't trust you." Kelly said

"I will do everything you say and if and I kind of mess up you can send me back home." Emani said pleading

"I’m really gonna have to think about it. But whether you stay here or not, no more weed, no more alcohol, no nothing you got that." Kelly said looking at her dead in her eye.

"To be honest, that was my first and last time." Emani said

"Good." Kelly said

While Kelly and Emani were enjoying breakfast and having small talk they heard a knock on the door. Kelly went to answer it and it was Trey, she invited him in.

"So what's go you up this early in the morning." Kelly asked

"Your sneakers" he said smiling holding up the cleaner.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Let me go get them." Kelly said as she walked back into her room.

"Hey Trey" Emani said

"Oh hey Emani, how's it going?" he asked

"As good as a prisoner can get." Emani said laughing. "I think she's letting up though. She offered me breakfast and we talked."

"Oh that's good." he said as Kelly came back into the living room with her sneakers and handing them to him.

"So let's see what this cleaner does." Kelly said

"Watch the magic" he said as he began to clean.

"Wow, she let you touch her shoes. I've never even got that close. She won't even let me borrow a pair" Emani said

"And you never will" Kelly said

"And good as new." he said as the shoe looked good as new.

"Oh wow, that's amazing. Where did you get that stuff from?" Kelly asked

"Now that's a secret." he said

As Kelly and Trey sat down in the living room watching TV and having mindless conversion Trey asked.

"So what are you doing tonight?" 

"Nothing, why?" Kelly said.

"I think you, me, Shawn, and Bey should do something tonight. Something fun."

"That seems cool, let me text Shawn and see what he says." Kelly said as she grabbed her cellphone and began texting.

"Shawn, you and Bey should come out with me and Trey tonight to hang out."

Now they just wait for Shawn to text back. They sit and watch TV until Kelly’s phone vibrates. She looks at it.

"Ok, I asked Bey she said ok and will meet y'all at 3:00 at your place to figure out what we can do."

Kelly texted back "Ok" and then she turned to Trey.

"They said they'll be here at 3:00 to find something for us to do tonight." Kelly said

"Ok" Trey said

Now they sit and wait until 3:00 approaches.
