Chapter 3:Beyonce? Shawn?

Trey eyed Kelly down as he began walking towards her.

"She looks even better than she did in high school" He thought. "She still has those great legs, very toned. She must still be dancing, I can tell."

Then he noticed her smile and it was contagious. Trey then began to smile.

Kelly raised her head from the counter and noticed Trey approaching her. She also noticed that he still looked the same but more mature. He still had the killer smile though.

"I'll be damned Kelly, I haven't seen you in what? Five years." Trey said smiling. "I guess it is a small world."

He embraced Kelly in a hug.

"Well I guess it is" Kelly replied coming out of the embrace. "So how's life been treating you?"

"Well you know, still singing. Me and Beyoncé got a deal with the same record company. You remember Beyoncé right? He asked.

"Oh yeah, I did a couple performances with her." Kelly said.

"Yeah, she's over there checking us in" Trey replied pointing over to where Beyoncé was signing some papers.

"Oh so y'all two together now?" Kelly asked curiously.

"Oh no we're just best friends, that's my sister. She thought of coming to Vegas to get my mind off of my breakup." Trey said walking with Kelly over to a bench to have a sit.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that "Kelly said sincerely.

"Oh no it's okay, that's why me and Beyoncé just came out here to relax." He said.

"Oh I totally understand. That's why me and Shawn came out here. Too much stress at work. You remember Shawn right?"  Kelly asked.

"Oh yeah, he produced and played piano in high school right? " He asked.

"Yep, that would be the one." Kelly said.

As they got caught up with each other Beyoncé rolled the luggage over to where they were sitting.

"Oh no, don't get up Trey, I'll get all the bags" Beyoncé said sarcastically

"My bad B, I got caught up talking to Kelly. You remember Kelly right?" He asked over his shoulder getting the rest of the bags.

"Yeah I remember Kelly" Beyoncé said hugging her. "We use to dance in high school together."

"Trey tells me y'all got a deal with the same record company." Kelly said

"Yeah I'm so excited to get to work" Beyoncé said giggling. "So what about you?"

" I still dance and with Shawn working with different artist I end up choreographing some videos. You remember Shawn?" Kelly asked.

"Shawn, Shawn" Beyoncé said thinking then snapped her fingers. "Shawn, yeah I remember him. He used to get on my damn nerves."

"It's funny you would say that" Kelly said chuckling

"Why, is he here?" Beyoncé asked laughing.

"Actually, yeah" Kelly replied pointing over Beyoncé's shoulder as he was approaching.

Beyoncé turned her head.

Shawn was walking from the bathroom with his luggage. As he walked a little further he noticed Kelly was talking to some chick. He walked further and he noticed the girl turned her head towards him. She looked familiar

As Beyoncé turned her head she noticed Shawn approaching them.

Beyoncé saw him smile and it was contagious so she decided to be polite and greet him.

"Hello Shawn."

"What a fucking small world" Shawn mumbled to himself.

He noticed that she was standing and so he didn't mind checking her out.

When he got closer Beyoncé politely greeted him. "Hello Shawn"

"Hello Beyoncé, how's life been treating you?" Shawn asked.

"Pretty good." She said as they glared at each other.

Kelly noticed the awkward stares.

"Okay, Shawn did you know that Beyoncé is on the same label as Trey. You remember Trey right?" Kelly said quickly.

Shawn and Beyoncé kept having a starring contest until Shawn looked away to answer Kelly's question.

"What did you say Kell?" Shawn looking towards Kelly.

"I said you remember Trey right?" she said as she pointed to Trey coming up behind him.

Shawn turned around and saw Trey walking towards them.

"Oh yeah, I remember him" Shawn said as he dapped up Trey.

"Hey, How about we all meet later for dinner and catch up?" Trey said.

"Sure why not, that sounds like fun." Kelly said.

"Great" Beyoncé said sarcastically

All of that sarcasm went above Kelly and Trey's heads.

"So we meet down here at eight and figure out where we wanna go? That's cool with everyone?" Trey asked and everyone nodded. "Alright see y'all later, let's go Bey"

Beyoncé and Trey went over to the elevator to go to their room while Kelly and Shawn lagged behind and talked.

"Man, it is a small world isn't it?" Kelly said to Shawn.

"Yeah, it is" Shawn said not excited.

"What's wrong? You seem a little disturbed" Kelly said chuckling

"Kell, I don't know. Beyoncé has always rubbed me the wrong way. I don't know why, she just has. In high school we use to argue about everything. If I said hot she said cold. If I said east she said west. 
They said we argued like a married couple. I came here to relax. How am I gonna relax if she's here?" Shawn stated ranting.

"Are you done or are you finished?" Kelly said  "Shawn, it's just dinner. It's not like you're gonna marry her. Relax."

They started walking towards the elevator.

"Trey, Why did you ask them to dinner?" Beyoncé asked

"Because it's the polite thing to do" He replied as they rode up the elevator. Plus we haven't seen them in years, it would be nice to catch up, why what's with you?"

"Nothing, it's just me and Shawn never really got along. If I said one thing he would say the opposite and then we would start arguing. People use to say we argued like a married couple." Beyoncé said ranting.

Trey tried to hold his laugh in but he couldn't help it.

"Beyoncé, are you serious?" he asked laughing. "It's just dinner. I'm pretty sure you guys have matured since high school. It's not like you're getting married. Relax."
