“Oh my god!” she yelled at the top of her voice.

“What?” he jumped at her sudden attack. Eyes bulged in surprise, she said, “You think the tea guy is the one who killed everyone in this town?”

“Shut up!” someone yelled from one of the buildings they were walking by.

While he looked around for the source of the voice, she shrugged her shoulders and said, “Guess not.”

He suppressed a smile as he found her adorable. Until she yelled again.

“Okay! My turn!”

She seemed to think for a while and said, “Tell me about your best kiss so far.”

Surprised by her question, he looked at her.

“This is the 9th question, isn’t it?”

She just wiggled her eyebrows. He chuckled and said, “College. First year. It was some party night. Everyone was completely drunk. I wasn’t though.”

She eyed him suspiciously and he added, “Well may be a little bit.” As if solved a mystery, she smiled feeling proud of herself.

He continued, “There was this girl. She was kind of a nerd you could say. But very cute. We talked a lot that night. After everyone passed out, we went to the balcony. The mood and the settings were just right. We kissed.”

He looked at her and saw her giving him a teasing smile.

“What?” he asked feeling confused.

“Was she your first?”

“My first?”

“Your first time?”

“What?”

“Argh!” she was frustrated with his cluelessness. She said, “did you lose your virginity to her?”

His eyes grew wide with shock. He said, “I’m not telling you that! That’s very personal!”

“That night was the night, wasn’t it?”

“I’m not answering that.”

“I’ll take that a yes!”

“You can assume whatever you want.”

She thought for a second and said, “I’m using it as my 10th question.”

He looked at her, surprised at her smartness. “Huh?”

“Now you have to answer. It's part of the game rules,” she shrugged her shoulders.

“Fine!” he sighed and said in a low volume, “Yes.”

“Haha!” she laughed, clapping to herself.

“Yeah. Yeah,” he followed watching her from behind.

“This means I’m smart!” she exclaimed.

“But this also means that you have to tell me about yours.” His sudden reveal of fact shut her up. She stared at him with a blank face for a second before saying, “What questions?”

“Oh no lady,” he walked up to her, “The rules go both ways. Since I have already answered, now it's your turn.”

“Alright. Okay!” she finally gave in.

“My best kiss so far was with this guy in college. It’s quite like your story really. It was ‘spin the bottle’, Kiss or drink a shot. This hot guy spun it and it stopped right at me.”

As she gazed unfocused at a distance, she said, “Man, was he a good kisser.” Even in the darkness, he could very well see all her 32 teeth shining.

“Enough with the dreaming,” he interrupted her trance. “What about your first time? Same guy?”

“I wish!” she sighed in exasperation. Her lower lip protruded as she narrated that story.

“It was with my first college boyfriend. I didn’t love him or anything. We just did it for the sake of doing it. Yeah…it was bad.”

“Pfft.”

She turned around to find him suppressing his laughter. Though initially upset, eventually a smile broke onto her lips. She said, “It was so bad!”

“I believe you,” he chuckled with her.

She said, “It was both of our first time and neither of us knew what to do!”

As he tried to control his smile, she said, “Oh god! We were so bad!”

Her eyes wandered into the distance as a smile retained on her lips.

“Wow…” she said, “I hadn’t thought about him in a long time.”

He stood still, just watching her again get lost in her thoughts.
