Dr. Facilier, Lady Tremaine, and Smee crossed the bridge and their kids ran to greet them. Jay and Gil are planning to spend their gap year exploring and Audrey has eyes on Harry. So far everything seems fine.
Hades crosses the bridge and asks, "Am I invited to the wedding?" I grin, nodding, and Mal races to hug him, which he surprisingly hugs back. Ben looks petrified, but I like my soon to be father in law. When he sees me holding hands with Jay, he says, "If you told me you were also engaged to a VK...I would have helped you all without a fuss."
I laugh and Hades says, "I'm sure you four will be very happy together." I smile, "Thank you." I give him a hug and kiss his cheek. As we walk, Ben slaps his back, "Welcome to Auradon." One look from Hades tells Ben that that wasn't exactly the best move.
A couple hours later
Jay, Mal, Evie, Carlos, and I join hands as we look across the bridge. Their parents haven't crossed yet, and they're dying to see them.
"Do you think your dad will like me?" I ask Jay. "I'm sure he'll love you," Jay assures me. "And if he doesn't?" He shrugs, "Who cares? I'll marry you anyway." I blush and we turn our attention back to the Isle.
"Do you ever miss them?" Evie asks and Mal nods, "Yeah." "Do you think that they miss you?" I have to asks. Carlos says, "Yeah. Of course." Mal nods, "Cause we're rotten..." She holds out her fist and we all join in, "To the core."
Carlos grins, "Hey, last one over the bridge..." We all yell, "Is a rotten apple!"
And we dash across the bridge.
