Ben hands me some papers.  "Fairy Godmother hasn't signed these yet."  I sigh, "So many papers to sign."  Ben laughs, "I know.  We'll have to get used to it."  I'm almost fuming, "You'll have to get used to it.  The Queen barely does anything unless the King or his advisors ask her for her opinion.  It's ridiculous."  He nods in agreement, "I know.  I'll keep you up to date, Brie.  You know that."  I smile, "I do.  But it's great to have reassurance."  I leave and admire my outfit as I walk.

I get so tired of wearing blue and yellow

I get so tired of wearing blue and yellow.  I love blue, but yellow is way too bright and loud for me.  My favorite colors are blue, white, and black.  I enter the Remedial Goodness 101 class, and I am surprised to see Mal, Jay, Evie, and Carlos surrounding a TV.  I can hear Maleficent, "I m-m-miss you."  You could tell from her stammering it was a lie.  FGM sees me and beckons for me to come forward without letting the villains see me.  I try, but Maleficent catches a glimpse of my brown hair and I sneak by, "Who's the brown-haired person?"

Busted.  I turn and smile at the screen, but Mal makes the introductions, "Mom, this is Brielle, the soon to be Queen of Auradon."  She scrutinizes me up and down, "The future Queen?  You look much too young."  "Yeah.  I get that a lot," I say, tilting my head to the right and smiling a little tightly.  "So, tell me," Maleficent leans back and puts her hands behind her head, "What's your opinion on these kids?"  I blink and look at them.  They nod slowly.

"I think they're cool and amazing in their own ways.  Mal has made my brother really happy.  Happier than I've ever seen him.  Jay is really good at sports and was selfless and considerate at our last match.  Carlos is so sweet and nice to everyone.  And Evie is so intelligent, more intelligent than she gives herself credit for."

I smile and take the papers from FGM, "I have to go give these papers to my brother.  Nice to meet you all."  I turn to the VKs, "I'll see you later."  I briskly leave the room.

Parents Day

I rush up to Ben, "It's time."  He nods and hands me a napkin that I fold over my arm, "Nervous?"  I roll my eyes, "Heck no.  This song is so stupid and cringey, yet I remember it so well.  I only regret that it's going to be in my head all day."  He laughs and says, "They're here.  C'mon."  We walk in front of the students.  My dress is the perfect shade of blue
