We walk the school grounds with Audrey hanging off Ben's arm like a monkey. "Auraudon Prep. Originally built 300 years ago and converted into a high school by our father when he became king," I explain, indicating the huge school. We walk by a statue of King Beast and Ben and I clap our hands twice. The statue morphs into his beast form. Carlos screams and jumps into Jay's arms.

I laugh, "Carlos, it's okay." Ben explains, "Our father wanted his statue to morph from beast to man, to remind us that anything's possible." "I will confess that when I was little, that thing scared me half to death," I admit. Jay drops Carlos and keeps walking. Carlos tries to change the statue but it doesn't work and he rushes to catch up. "So you guys have a lot of magic, here at Auradon? Like, wands and things like that?" Mal asks as we walk into the school. Boy, she really likes wands. "Yeah it exists, of course. But it's pretty much retired. Most of us here are just ordinary mortals," Ben explains. "Brielle has some magic," Ben confesses. Evie looks interested, "Oooo, like what?" "It's nothing really. I can just make plants grow and I can move things with my mind. Like this." I turn on my heels to look at Jay and with a flick of my finger and some gold sparkles, his beanie flies off his head and on to Carlos' head. Everyone laughs and Jay takes the beanie back. "Our royal blood goes back hundreds of years," Audrey explains.
"Doug! Doug, come down!" Ben meets Doug halfway down the stairs and puts his arm on his shoulder, "This is Doug. He's going to be helping you with your class schedules and showing you the rest of the dorms. I'll see you later okay? And if there is anything you need feel free to-" Audrey finishes, "Ask Doug." She drags Ben away and I watch them leave. I turn back to them, "Well, you're in pretty good hands now. I'll see you around. I'll check in a few hours, okay?" They nod and I wave goodbye as I walk outside. I decide to walk around the gardens to clear my mind for a bit. While I'm walking, I hear someone yell, "Brie! Wait up!" I turn to see my roommate and best friend, Allison.

"Hey boo. What's up?" She shrugs, "Nothing. Just wanna ask if the VKs got along with you and Ben?" "From what I saw, they did. Audrey made things superawkward between her and Malificent's daughter. I put her in her place." Allison links our arms together, "Someone has to. I feel so bad that your brother is trapped with her. Anyway, you need a rest. C'mon, let's go lounge in our dorm." I laugh and nod, "Sounds good."
