So this was how it felt to love and to be loved? Of course, he didn't know if Quentin's feelings were that strong and hell, what did he know about love, but whatever it was felt amazing.
It had been two weeks since their talk in the coffee shop and for fourteen days, they had been sneaking around in secret.
They hadn't told anyone about it, not even Isaac who should be the first one know. They seemed to have this silent agreement that they should enjoy it as long as it lasted because all this lust and attraction would probably eventually end.
Theo couldn't get enough of Quentin and he seemed to think the same way as they made out as often as they could, which unfortunately wasn't very often. They had even had sex over ten times and each time it was somehow better than before.
Theo and Quentin never labeled themselves as boyfriends. Making it official felt a bit too much so they decided to keep it casual. Theo wasn't sure if he was able to stop what they were doing if Quentin wanted that despite not being anything serious.
He took that stupid red-haired boy a little too seriously but that was his problem. He was too much of a coward to ask him to be his boyfriend and wasn't even sure if he was ready for that. That was almost as clear as if someone wrote 'gay' on his forehead.
Was he gay, though? Or bisexual? He hadn't just stopped liking girls and thought that some were still good-looking who looked like they were great in bed. Despite that, Quentin seemed to be the only one he wanted there. And that was a scary thought.
Theo had never been so confused about who he was and he had no one to talk to. He knew that Quentin would listen and maybe even help him since he had probably experienced the same thing but he didn't know how to start that conversation.
Was that even necessary, though? He could just continue what he was doing without worrying about what he should be called.
"... and told him that I'll be with Mom the whole day. Is this what we are doing? Lying to everyone we care about every time we meet?" Theo frowned when he heard the worry and disgust in Quentin's voice.
He turned around in the bed to look him in the eyes as he played with Theo's fingers. They were at his room alone in the house, both naked after having marvelous sex once again.
They had never talked about this. Or anything else really. After confessing their feelings, they haven't had any of those deep conversations, instead, they just made out as much as they could. That's why Theo couldn't help but frown as he realized that he had no idea about Quentin's feelings.
Sighing, he knew better than tell him not to worry about anything but he surely wasn't ready to tell anyone about him. "I'm sorry. I wish I could help but I'm a bit selfish and want to be with you."
Did he really say that? Quentin seemed to think the same way since he just stared at him more than a minute in silence which made Theo regret that he ever opened his damn mouth.
It's not like Quentin didn't know that he had feelings for him so why was he making this so awkward and uncomfortable? Sure he hadn't exactly spoken about his feelings again but Quentin couldn't have forgotten what he had said, could he?
"Shut up or your new nickname will be Romeo," Quentin smirked after a while. He obviously wanted to forget the serious subject and even though it felt like a rejection, Theo would play along.
"And yours is Juliet?" he joked, making Quentin laugh out loud. He could never get tired of that sound.
"You know that they died in the end, right?" Quentin said and was once again silent for a while as if trying to figure out what to say and what not to say. "I want to be with you too, Freddie."
