"To be honest I really don't understand. It seems there were opnions that with the finals being suspended , that no one should pass this time around. But I hear the late Third Hokage highly prasised both your matches. It seems he intended to recommend you two Chunin. In fact the lords of other lands who observed the fight and the proctors were the same opinion as well.. In that cade it's not in my place to say this or that about it. Later~~

"Wow!" both Ino and Choji say with a smile on their face.

"Even you who's never motivated , has turn respectable all of a sudden" Ino cheeckly laughs teasing Shikamaru.

"Haha it doesn't you Kai, you look bulky!" Choji laughs at me.

Across the table are me and Shikamaru wearing are Chunin vest. He looks pretty casual wearing it , as for me I look so bulky as Choji says.

"Don't laugh.." Shikamaru says sighing.

"Funny or not let's have a toast to celebrate your promotion as Chunin. Who knew the lazy one and the bossy one would be the first one's-"

"Asuma!" I exclaim.

"Come on it's great the first try you already made it" he says.

"I guess" I grab my chop sticks placing the meats down on the grill.

So today we become Chunin , me and Shikamaru. Crazy but the Hokage's words not mine. Lady Tsunade..

So this is Lady Tsunade the fifth Hokage. Beauty , and power what more can you ask for. Apparently she was on the same team as Orochimaru , and Jiriya the three Sanin. To be called that you must be extraordinary.

Seeing a female Hokage is amazing , plus she can be a bit intimidating especial when Shikamaru was slouching as he was given the vest.

"Great!!" Choji swips the meat to his mouth.

"Hey!! Choji lay off the meat before the toast okay!?" she angrily says.

"S-sorry didn't want the meat to get burned" Choji says with a full mouth of meat.

"No, fighting got it?" I say sighing.

Ino glares at Choji "but-"

"She's right, more of your bicker and no more meat for the both of you" Asuma threatens them by hitting their sweet spot.

I slightly chuckle , still bicker more , Asuma just stands by their bickering.

Soon Ino places the last piece , but Choji swips it "here we go again" I glance to Shikamaru.

"Oh brother.." he slaps his forehead.

"Come on that was my piece!"

"The last piece is the best piece. So if you think I'm giving it to you , your crazy!" he eats it whole.

"Choji!" I say angrily soon Ino gets up her seat and angrily places her foot on the seat.

She points at him like crazy "why do you have to act like such an idiot?! Choji this is why everyone makes fun of you because you're like this! Your just a fat--"

"Ino! That's taboo" Shikamaru steps in to stop them.

"And Choji settle down please, a meal isn't a battle. Don't be a pain especial on this day okay?" I say soon Ino sits down while Choji still laughs at her.

Asuma pov
