Information:
character 47 is a Y/n ( your name) character. She/you will have a bigger role later in this book

To those who don't want 47 to be a y/n character, then my original idea for 47 will count. She was supposed go by the name Carmen so if You want then please think of her as Carmen instead ❤️❤️

Lloyd goes by the names Renegade, Green and of course, Lloyd. He doesn't know he's real name. So don't get confused. :) enjoy

Monster...
Those words were the exact words he used to yell at his master. The shadow lord of the league.
Was he truly a monster...? Was he... turning into a monster like his master..?
He regretted everything. He regretted hurting Kai, he regretted trying to escape. Of course he wouldn't be able to. Garmadon had warned him. If he was 100 meters away from him, the snake bracelet would do terrible things to him. Well he deserved it now. He actually should have just died. He didn't deserve to live. He had been locked in, in this room for at least two days. Only Garmadon had entered. Lloyd had been to weak to be able to communicate, because of the venom from the snakes fang had activated and knocked him out. Garmadon had also warned him of this, and of course he had ignored it. He was stupid. Absolutely the greatest idiot of all time... he didn't deserve to live.
Garmadon had been treating him alright though. Even though he he had been knocked out, he could hear him at least come to check his condition at least every two hour. He had been tending to the poison, making sure it didn't kill him, witch Lloyd though he shouldn't have.
And there it was again, he was being nice to him, even though he had tried to kill his student. He didn't even know if the ninja had survived.
Lloyd had woken up two hours ago. The poison had worn off and he was feeling better.
He was in the room they had given him. It was pretty empty as he really didn't own much, in fact, he had nothing in his room but his old suit. Garmadon had undressed him, only allowing him to wear some dark colored pants.
He lifted his hand. The bracelet was still there. Red eyes staring back at him. He hated it. It should have killed him, but did not.
Guilt rushed through him. Could Kai be dead...? Had he really... killed someone? No! He wasn't supposed to care! Why did he care!? The ninja should be dead! He has to!
No! How could he!
Lloyd grabbed his head in frustration, trying to calm down, but he was losing it. He was scared. He was scared that his master was going to hurt him. Like he used to.
His fewer had gone higher by him being stressed. He kept waking up from nightmares. Every time he closed his eyes, his master stood above him, ready to kill him.
After not being able to sleep, he forced himself to stay awake, but that didn't end up well either. He sat in the corner of the room, trying his best to not doze off, but his fewer had gotten higher. Soon he started seeing things that wasn't really there.
Again and again he hallucinated, watching people he feared, walking in the door, coming towards him to hurt him. But the worst one was when he watched 47 walk In that door. She had entered quietly and had come before him. He had reached out his hand for her, hoping she would take it and tell him that everything was alright, but instead, she had turned into a green snake and attacked him.

" Green!" Strong arms grabbed his shoulders. The voice was faint, but he heard it. Slowly, a shadow demon was replaced by Garmadon, crouching over him, with a worried expression.
" Hey! You're safe! No one is hurting you! Just calm down!" He spoke, trying to calm down the boy. After a while, Lloyd realized he wasn't being attacked or tortured, and to his and Garmadons surprise, he started crying.
Tears broke out and rolled down his cheeks like streams of water.
" is...is he dead?" He whispers, unable to stop the tears from breaking free. He couldn't remember last time had cried like this, but his guilt took over. He was losing his battle against his feelings. An assassin like him shouldn't be acting this way. But He was hoping with all his heart that Kai wasn't dead.
Garmadon again was surprised. The boy obviously showed emotion for his actions, and it surely wasn't what he expected.
" kid... tell me everything... we can help you!" Garmadon spoke.
Lloyd grabbed his shirt with such force that Garmadon almost thought he had attacked him. Again he whispered " is he alive?" Garmadon stared him into his eyes.
" he is, but he's not doing well..." Lloyd let go of him and covered his mouth with his hand to prevent himself to choke out weird noises like he used to do when he was crying like a child. His eyes was swollen red and his face wet from sweat and tears. Garmadon then put his hand on his forehead.
" you're burning... " but Lloyd didn't listen to him.
" I didn't want to do this..." he finally confessed. He had refused to admit it, but the second the mission had been assigned to him, he had a bad feeling about it, and now he confessed. It somehow helped getting it out.
" I work for the league of shadows... there you have it... " Garmadon felt a wave of shock hit him. The league. He thought they had died out when he turned good, but this boy now told him they were still out there. That explained a lot. Actually. That explained everything that had been happening lately.
Garmadon put his hands on his shoulders. " Green... are you telling me the truth?!" Lloyd looked up into his eyes. He then lifted his hand and moved aside the hair from the back of his neck and revealed a small tattoo, with the symbol of the league of shadows. A black raven flying out of smoke. He recognized it right away.
" this isn't good.... Green, tell me everything. Everything you know about it!" Lloyd was feeling unwell, but he was eager to spell it all out.
" He calls himself overlord..." Lloyd whispered, looking around to make sure no one else heard, he would be killed for sure if his master found out that he told their greatest enemy.
" he's going to kill me! " Lloyd whispered again. And this he knew for sure. He somehow had always been in a bad light with the lord, even though he was treated differently, like something valuable.
" he's going to destroy the city, after getting you and your students killed so no one would get in his way." Lloyd informed him. " and I don't know why, but I was the key to his plan"
This made Garmadon think.
" what makes you so special to him...?"
Lloyd honestly wasn't sure. To be honest, there were other kids at the league who would have more potential than him in combat or other skills, but he had chosen him. He then remembered the test.
" because.... I'm the chosen one... I passed his test" Lloyd answered honestly.
" what test?" Garmadon was listening hard now. This was very important information. Lloyd held up his hand towards him. Without saying another word he made a small movement with his fingers, and a spark of green light appeared. " I passed his elemental test" he whispered weakly as the small spark had used up a lot of his remaining energy. Garmadon was lost of words. He could almost not believe the fact that had been proven in front of his eyes.
Joy overwhelmed him, but also a wave of sadness rushed through him. This boy had been through hell, and that without them knowing and unable to help him. The green ninja had been held by the enemy, and used for evil purposes, becoming a criminal...and that was against his own nature and purpose.
With watery eyes, he looked up at him " you're the... Green ninja "
