Dec goes it alone for BGT 2018

Dec paced up and down in his dressing room, it was the first live show he would have two present on his own without Ant, he hadn't ever had to present a show without his best mate by his side. He clenched his hands together they had gone all sweaty and he couldn't feel his leg, he sat down and tried to calm down. He looked up when the door opened and in walked his daughter, his wife and Stephen.

Stephen" You okay mate?"

Charlie" Dad you will smash this, you always smash this" *sits the other side of him*

Dec*hugs his daughter* Thanks Charlie"

Ali" You got this Deccy, we all know you can do this"

Charlie" Dad, you will be okay, go out there and do Ant proud"

Dec*looks at Charlie and Ali* My girls"*cuddles both*

Stephen" Hey what about me?"

Charlie" Come Stevie get in on the cuddle"

All stand there and cuddle until they are told that they are to go live. Charlie stands with Ali and sighs.

Ali" You okay Charlie?"

Charlie*leans into her* I just feel nervous for dad, he has NEVER EVER presented a show without Ant"

Ali" I know"

Charlie" I know we all miss Ant and that he is getting the help he needs but I know its been the hardest on him, he won't admit it but I'm his daughter I can tell"

Ali* sighs* I have noticed as well, he is not the same without Ant they come as a package don't they"

Charlie" Yeah, me and Stephen are going to watch from upstairs do you want to join us?"

Ali" No that's okay I'm going to stay down here in case Dec needs me"

Charlie" Okay"*hugs Ali*

Charlie cuddles with Stephen as they watch her dad presenting the show.

Charlie" Hey is doing so well and loads of our fans are sending him such lovely messages on twitter"

Charlie continues watching her dad introduce every act and then he went over to chat to the judges and they all had a laugh though David decided to be cheeky so Dad spanked him. When the show went to the half and hour break for Corrie Charlie ran down to see her dad. He was talking to the judges and Charlie ran up to him and gave him a huge hug.

Dec" Oh hello trouble"

Charlie" Dad you were incredible I'm so proud of you"

Dec" Awwwww, thanks love"*squeezes her tight*

Amanda" Awww, she is so cute isn't she"

Alesha" Yeah"*smiles*

The judges headed back to their dressing rooms and Charlie sat on the judges desk.

Charlie" Dad?"

Dec" If you want to talk about Ant, I don't want to talk he is in the best place and thats all there is too it" *walks off*

Charlie*sighs*

Stephen*puts his hand on Charlie's shoulder*

Charlie*jumps* Oh its you Stephen"

Stephen" Who else would it be, you okay?"

Charlie" I wish I could get dad to talk about Ant, he just won't open up about it, it might make him feel better"

Stephen" You can't force him he will probably do it in his own time"

Charlie" I know, I just worry for him, he is my dad"

Stephen*cuddles her* I know, we all miss Ant so much"

Charlie" We have already been talking about I'm a celebrity replacement and its hard to believe Ant won't be on it this year, I'm going to miss him so much when we go over there"

Stephen" I know, be nice to have another girl there though"

Charlie" Oh yeah of course I could always use some girl power on my side, Joe and Joel get on my nerves sometimes"

Stephen*smiles* shakes his head* Do I get on your nerves?"

Charlie" Of course you do" *giggles*

Stephen" Charlie!*runs after her*

Charlie sitting with her dad,Ali and Stephen after the first live show and they were all chatting about the Saturday Night Takeaway and the coming series of Im a celebrity.

Dec" It's just not going to be the same without Ant we have never done anything apart"

Charlie*cuddles her dad* It will be okay dad, we will all be there for you"

Dec" I know you will love"*kisses her forehead

Ali" She is right Ali, we will all be there for you and Holly is a great friend"

Dec" I know, I know I just need to stop worrying"

Charlie" Its okay to worry dad, but you don't need to"

When they are back home Dec, Charlie and All are sitting watching the telly Charlie on her iPad.

Charlie" Dad there is loads of love for you tonight after the first live semi final, my phone was pinging a lot during BGMT"

Dec kisses them both and cuddles them.
